It was kakashis idea so kakashi stole it from lee and Gai and be glad sasuke didn't keep that fighting style otherwise naruto would have been neg diff at Vote
If it wasn't for Rock Lee, Sasuke would be nothing.

Someone can still lose a battle without and still go on to do something important.Like when Sasuke Vs the Raikage first came out.Some people may have been thinking Sasuke would win simply because he had to fight Danzo later,so they used the infamous plot excuse.And what happened? Sasuke still lost and fought Danzo.
A character can still lose and do an important event later that was foreshadowed.In world circumstances is why characters don't die every time they face danger,but when characters do survive in those cases,if the person doesn't like a character they will use the infamous plot excuse.
I thought you were doing that here and may be wrong.
Actually it would have been harder for Naruto to win if Sasuke was moving as fast as Lee when they fought.

Plot excuses are basically faulty writing, and unfortunately it happens in this manga. Although they can be explained, the manga should do the explaining of why certain things happen instead of forums/people.

Yeah that too. Kiba was caught off guard but to be honest, it seemed more like a joke battle at the end. Any real combatant would not let a smell get in the way of their victory. Pretty sure if Naruto never farted in Kiba's face then Kiba would not have been hit with those slow fodder clones.

Most of the time the manga does explained unlike recently with stuff like why Kaguya,Naruto,and Sasuke were effected by the gravity dimension more than Kakashi and Obito.But alot of the times with stuff way before that where people are using the plot excuse,it's because they forget an explanation,like this thread for example.
Or they reject an explanation,or the logic behind it.
There's been other plot things, for example: how IT worked on people who lacked chakra, since genjutsu messes with chakra in the brain, how madara can see through shadow clones, and other things the manga doesn't directly address. I've tried to give a reason why Kakashi and Obito were able to move while Naruto and Sasuke were not, but again the manga should have gave the explanation instead of people trying to find the answer/logic themselves, which still is at the end of the day-subjective.
But anyway I digress, this is getting off topic anyway..

Sasuke still had to train to not only be able to fully use Lee's taijutsu but to increase his speed too. The Sharingan allows you to copy jutsus but you need to have the ability to use the jutsu. Sasuke increase his speed with Shunshin, use of chakra in your feet to increase your speed. Sasuke having the ability to even copy Lee's taijutsu is because of his skills.
