[Question] If I want to post a video in a thread

Whenever I click on the video imagery at the top, a box comes up but it only shows the URL option. There's apparently nothing that can direct me to my device's files to post the subjectival item.

Can anyone enlighten me as to how to go about it if I want to post an item that's on my device?

You can upload it to a site then go from there

As far as I am aware there is and has never been any way to upload attachments onto this forum—that is simply not what it was designed for and I would imagine such a feature is too complicated for a free forum of this type of content. As the user above mentioned, if you wish to share a video the best way to do that is to upload it on youtube (its much faster that way as well) and then copy the URL from that. For images, there are a plethora of online image hosting sites that allow you to upload images, even for the simple task of copying the URL.
