He probably will be able to do it sometime in the future at will. He's an enhancer so his hatsu should be oriented around enhancing his physical prowess. For instance look at Youpi, he can grown more limbs with his enhancement, more eyes, and he can even grow bigger. That Owl that Gon fought in the forest, it was a smalll owl at first, and than went into Gorrila Mode, using enhancement to make itself bigger and stronger. So I think Gon now has an idea to breache the gap between himself and older and stronger characters. He's gonna have to do a whole lotta nen training though, at least he'll have to double or even triple his nen potency and capacity and even then, I don't think he'll be able to turn into adult Gon, maybe late teens Gon. This is ofcourse meaning that he does the transformation without a vow and restriction, using enhancer type of hatsu and a large amount of nen. Just a theory though, but I doubt Togashi did that as a one time thing, and the other enhancers (albeit not human) have shown a similar ability so it might be a foreshadow for Gon's new hatsu, which he'll use in co-ordination with Janken.
