Not sure if you misunderstood the thread. Our economy is not like this... I am not an animal caretaker, despite how happy I would be working as one, because the pay is so low. If the economy somehow were able to run on an exchange of happiness, I would be animal caretaker, and would be a pretty rich one.

What you are describing is a situation in which you are simply allowed to do what you believe you would be the happiest doing. There is absolutely no reason for there to be an exchange in such a system.
