Didnt goku lift up a glass of water within the cup when he was in the hospital? Or was that a filler?

except it is spherical like I just said, therefore Kamehameha would be able to be shot over a longer distance, while shinra tensei would push everything away in a spherical fashion, and since this is on a planetary scale it would just push the planets with there being huge craters where the planets were pushed, at least that's my view of it.

The longer distance and instant destruction in comparison to shrinra tensei is why I chose it. Since all shinra tensei does is just push then it should push the planets away and not destroy them, but then again if it pushes fast enough I guess it could destroy them, but as far as we have seen it just pushes, and that's what happened to Konoha it got pushed into the ground. On a planetary scale it would push the planet(s) (konoha) into a different gravity (the ground) but wouldn't destroy them entirely as the ground in this situation is void.

Kamehameha would destroy the planets near instantly and could destroy all planets in a line for a longer distance than shinra tensei, but shinra tensei would put planets in missery by moving them out of orbit away from their stars or something like that. Kamehameha has faster destructive potential and more destructive potential in a straight line. I pick the kamehameha since it is faster to use, can destroy things faster and completely in comparison to shinra tensei, and has more distance, since its all that power fired in a beam while shinra tensei is a giant sphere.

Also shinra tensei isn't undodgable in the dbz universe, instant teleportation and faster than light speed show that.

Also 1 trillion ki isn't a very good or reliable unit.

Speed of light means nothing. ST is instant. That means faster than anything. Also, we have seen ST used in a concentrated fashion( against ninjas, and 6tailed kurama and also as a rock slicer). Goku could just concentrate it in the form of a dense gravity beam.

Goku vs Goku. Both with intent to kill. Both intends to give it their all, implying complete destruction of the other if their attack contacts.

3...2..1. Fight!

Goku starts charging solar system busting Kamehameha

Meanwhile, other Goku hits him with a solar system busting ST.

ST Goku wins.

Basically. Because shinra tensei doesn't require Goku to stand there and keep charging ki to keep it up. Kamehameha does.

Im pretty sure goku can use telekensis, when he was shown to use twin dragon shot against freiza, which was what it seemed, a telepathically controlled version of kamehameha, when he was knocked down into water.

Did I not say there is instant movement in the dbz universe? I'm pretty positive I did. how do you negate that?

Also sorry, I was thinking shinra tensei as the spherical damaging sphere, it has been shown to be used in a linear fashion as well. Sorry for this. But anyways in linear fashion all it does still is push. Pushing into something could kill, but pushing someone or a planet isn't going to kill them. And since planets are in a void and thus going to be pushed into nothing there won't be any intensely damaging effects from the move.

If shinra tensei is used in a spherical fashion I would imagine that it would pierced by kamehameha quite easily since its ki is spread out while Kamehameha is concentrated.

In a concentrated fashion however I'm unsure of the outcome, I'm going to assume Kamehameha would win. Besides ki usage there are sheer difference in power of techniques. Shinra tensei was shown that it could be resisted against, if a better technique went head to head with shinra tensei it could possibly cancel it out or pierce through it. This better technique would be kamehameha, it is a high class technique learned by only the most powerful and has the capabillity to destroy planets and even the moon at very low levels. Also bansho tenin was easily stopped by planting one's self to the ground. the repulsive and attractive effects clearly aren't absolute and even being equal a technique of higher level should be able to pierce through it. When i say technique of higher level, again I don't mean more ki I mean a more powerful technique. Kamehameha's power focused in a beam is likely more powerful than shinra tensei focused in a beam since kamehameha can destroy planets, shinra tensei only pushes and it has been shown that it can be resisted against. ugh I'm having a hard time explainging myself right here, anyways my point is that kamehameha is likely a better technique than shinra tensei since shinra tensei shows clear weaknesses, while kamehameha is pure destruction and can only be stopped by a move of equal power and technique or tanking it. at very least if Kamehameha doesn't beat it they cancel eachother out if the techniques are of equal intensity.

Also shinra tensei clearly isn't instant like you said. It has a point of origin and then moves outward quickly, but not instant. this is shown in these

If it were instant the first image wouldn't exist. the first image clearly shows the center and things getting pushed out gradually with the final result being this, this shows there is a clear amount of time for it to move from its start point to its finish point.:

Something else that shows that shinra tensei isn't instant is that nail would have been in Kakashi's eye before he could think about kamuing it. Shinra tensei is easily slower than the speed of light, which Ships in dragonball easily go faster and dragonball characters theoretically can go faster.

ST Goku would lose in a clash against Kamehameha Goku. ST still relys on the energy of the user, and ST spreads it out in a large area, wasting tons of energy. Kamehameha Goku blast through ST with his concentrated energy and ST Goku dies. Cool story bro....
