yeah i had an open mind to many options of how it worked, and i do believe it is a multiplier, it just sad that something being hyped to be on judaras level is barely capable of handling 7 swordsmen. i see gai as higher than jounin level. i really think hes at least kage level even though his rank says jounin. same with kakashi. kakashi is way op and > kage level. same goes for sasuke/naruto and orochimaru, and others. i know they are two different people, but someone that is ranked genin and is able to pull off the 8th gates can't possibly be a weakling base power level.

Well yeah, it's obvious that Gai won't do anything important to Madara. Just buy time for Naruto, like Krillin for Goku.
I think "Kage Level" is used loosely.

Tsunade and Danzou (For a short period of time) are no where near Hashirama's power.

That being the case I still stand by what I say.

Part 1 Kakashi was enough to take down Zabuza (With the help of some TnJ). This was while protecting the Bridge Builder and the Genins.
Part 2 Kakashi had some trouble taking down Edo Tensei Zabuza.

In my point of view, Kisame was the strongest Swordsman (Based on feats.), in which Gai had to resort to using the 7th Gate of Shock. In this fight, Kisame was alive, not a Edo Tensei. Imagine if Kisame was around when Dai was. The whole 8th Gate thing would've been futile, given Dai's strength.

So, even if the Seven Swordsmen were not Edo Tensei, 6-7th Gate Gai, and Kamui Kakashi would have still been a match.

I believe that if Gai were in Dai's situation, substitute kid Gai for kid Lee, Gai would've won just by using the 7th gate.

Agree, but I think a lot of people are forgetting that out of all those swordsman only a couple were seen alive later in the timeline. It's very possible Dai killed some of them and injured the others even being much weaker than Gai or Lee.

i was not reffering only why dai used the 8 gates ****, you can use the gates if you have physical training, i can run for 20 years and do push-ups etc that dose not mean i am A at fight i would only have a strong body and that's all. fact is his dad suck's at taijutsu or atleast is not on rock's lee level.gui is on another level + he is jonin is dad was genin not because he was baka, gui is also baka but he still managed to become a jounin (your thread is usless, think before you make one)

You are just trying to make an excuse, a bad one, for why dai is fodder. hes not. if you are capable of 8th gate, you have to be great. its not an easy task.
