i think mangapanda has it mistranslated, because if you think about it a clone would not cut it.

if the minato clone were to get hit with that enton shuriken then the clone would dissappear instantly due to the level of the jutsu.

perhaps clones using FTG requires too much time to accumulate the chakra needed. Perhaps the user needs undivided attention when using FTG (pun intended).
