If Ebola turns into some Walking Dead type shit, what weapon is closest to you and what is your first move? The closest weapon to me is my switch blade. My first move would be to scoop up my friends in my truck and look for a group looking to survive. I'm going to be fighting, not hiding.

Ebola won't get far in the more developed countries. And in the hypothetical scenario where it doesn't turn into such a thing, running is the best decision. It's pretty contagious in close quarters.

You won't have to worry about zombies with ebola. Only, you know, death. I don't think it will get as bad in America as it is in Africa. Some of the biggest reasons it spreads so fast and kills so many over there is because of poor sanitation. Some cultures over there also have direct physical contact with the bodies as part of their funeral rituals. In America it will hit the poor and homeless community harder then anyone. If it affects the rich then you can almost be certain that a cure or successful treatment will be found.

If it is a zombie hypothetical you are looking for then my nearest weapon is an aluminum baseball bat and various kitchen knives. I am 1600 miles from most of my family so that leaves just me and my brother. I would have to have a goal so I guess i would try my best to make it back home and find my family.

I already have bug out bags, first aid, maps and locations and a whole lot more set up already. For myself, wife, 2 yr old daughter, dog and a couple of choice friends. We have many things that are usefully.. but closest weapon? Probably my wooden key blade I crafted. But the tanto is near by too... and that thing is sharp enough to cut through its own case.. lmao, first move would depend on the situation entirely
