[Discussion] If an edo Hashirama appeared on the battlefield would Madara win or lose?

hashirama would beat him just like he did before and if hashirama doesnt have a sealing tech(doubtful), he could just let bee seal him or something.

Well Madara basically has traded Kurama for Mokuton and the Rinnegan so I'd say it is till like it would have been back then, an insane fight that could go either way. Still I would expect a shock factor from Madara so Hashirama might have an initial advantage as Ninjas are supposed to take advantage of situations and be stealthy XD!!!

this forum is full of idiots, thats why i dont come here too often, edo madara's techniques and strength= nagato+himself+hashirama+immortality+izanagi/yin/yang+ invincibility+infinite chakra and can extract souls with rinnegan and has 10 tailed beast inside his mazou. edo hashirama= the weak loser who fought against hiruzen, he has no tailed beasts in his collection(he had them, as obito said, thats why i think madara lost...) to use against madara and so...he would get raped instantly

What if Edo-Hashirama could retract/remove/control his Cells in Madara. He inherited the body of the Sot6P for christ sake, his cells have been abused to hell, would only make sense that he can control them.
That rids Edo-Madara of Wood Release and without Senju DNA he can no longer control his Rinnegan; but that still leaves Madara with EMS. You also have to take into account we don't know how/when Hashirama died, it's entirely plausible he could've learned/unlocked some Senju-Body progression.
But they're both Edo, so no one wins. Unless Hashirama restrains Madara and allows both of them to be sealed.

A billion times is a lot... so you must be a fanboy? Guess I can't respect a proper response then... anyway it's impossible to foretell such a battle. Hashirama fought Madara and the kuybi, which says a lot. If edo Hashi appeared now, Madara would of course have his mokuton, though he probably would be far from hashis level in using it. Hashi also already knows his perfect susano, so that he will defeat, low diff... But Madara also had kuybi back then, so the real question is, whether rinnengan makes him stronger than if he had the kuybi under his control. I doubt that though.. so hashi still wins, and if madara wins, he wont rape hashi, it will be high diff as well.. fan kid
I'm not a fanboy of Madara... but if he can now be able to summon meteors and have many new techniques, then he must be that many times stronger than how he was before. I don't really particularly like Madara that much, so sorry. The way it seems is that you're probably a Hashirama fan boy, though you're saying it very subtly. Go away and don't dare call me a fan kid you hypocrite. Also this is just a manga discussion, I'm not taking it seriously.

Madara would still win.. stop misinterpreting what he said to the Kage.. he was really saying only one person was ever able to give him a run for his money.. Rinnegan plus Mokuton > Mokuton...
Well I don't believe that Hashirama would appear out of nowhere as his body was seal by the third, but if he did it'd be so freaking cool!!
I believe Hashirama would win after all he believes in the will of fire. But then again Madara has grown stronger...I think it would be a rather close call but Hashirama would come out on top. The good guy always wins

You make a thread about something that is impossible to even give a slight hint about, and yet you say madara is a billion times stronger. How can I not believe you are a fanboy? We have no knowledge of how their battle ended except that Hashirama won. Might as well be that Madara lost by obtaining his DNA in whatever unthinkable possible way, which would mean Madara is stronger. May even have been a walkover for hashirama, we don't know a thing about how long it took, how his chakra reserves were when it ended, etc.. Basically you can't even compare them, and morons all over these forums do it everyday - and what do they use? Max 3 sentences, cause that is as much as they can say about that fight... Whether Madaras meteor is a big deal for hashi, we simply have no knowledge that can provide us a qualified answer except for what we saw when he fought 3rd hokage as an edo, and that can't be compared due to the time skip U_U
