[Discussion] If a god created the universe

Where did that god get the material or "stuff" to make it in the first place? It can't just make it out of nothing right?

That's what separates a god from a man. Man can only alter things but never create. God can create out of will. Of course with different beliefs comes different answers.

Matter can't be created nor destroyed. So from that logic matter was already around. But where did it come from? Science doesn't know because it is impossible to trace where something from nothing came from. The Big Bang theory is just a guess. Personally that is why I do believe in God. There is no way this complex system of things came from nothing.

You're askin as if God was as limited as we are. We can't make a sculpture from air. We need clay. But a Divine being far above the ranks of humans can make anything happen. With no limitations.
Personally. I'm a Christian. Read the book and you can learn a lot. (The book is a bible for those unfamiliar)

A true god/dess can define any law that the physical universe is bound to.
