As we have now seeen Ichigo is apparently now Quincy. How can this be? Was his mother a quincy that was attacked by a hollow granting ichigo hollow/fullbring/ quincy powers aside from being shinigami. Could this really be the answer? I say NO!!!

My theory is that Ichigos fullbring wasnt fully explained or discoverd. Every fullbringer had completely opposite powers. Uniqie in every aspect. I believe that Ichigos fullbring works like a sponge. It absorbs any power closest to it. Well why coildnt he use Quincy powers from the beginning? You might ask. Well i think that his fullbring needs to be constantly close to those who emanate a certain power and their has to be enough people with who to absorb. Just uryuu wasnt enough notice that once he started meeting more quincy he was able to discover his quincy potential. Just like how he started finding his shinigami potential once he met other soul reapers. The same with the arrancar. This whole time his Fullbring had him controlling other powrts and ichigo ddnt even know.

In my opinion Ichigo is something like connector beetween different fractions. He's human, hollow (Vizard, Vasto Lorde), Fullbringer and on top of that Shinigami. Now he has got Quincy powers. Maybe Kubo conception is to make Ichigo into somebody like savior, someone who will stop fights between every single fraction as long as he is part of each. But theres still something that wonders me - why Kubo still hasn't used potential which is found in mysterious 0 division? Will Ichigo become a part of this one? This Arc was said to be last one, so maybe their time to show up has come? And where are Isshin, Yoruichi and Ryuuken?

He's dad is a shinigami who gave up his power to live a normal life and to possibly stay off Soul society's radar. His mother is a quincy who most likely did the same (She can be assumed to be related to Juha Bach somehow). Instantly powerfully born baby. His Hollow powers are a result of him training to regain his Shinigami powers when Baykuya stabbed them out of him.

His Fullbring powers are probably a side affect of such a union.
