Hello everybody, I've been thinking about the last episodes, and what is really happening with Ichigo, and I think I found out what's happening:
1. We found out Ichigo's bankai can't be stolen, and we get a "reason" why. It was stated by Yamamoto, (who is now dead
), he even said his own bankai couldnt be stolen either. The reasons were: Ichigo --> Big room for improvement and development of the bankai, so a non-mature bankai can't be stolen (which I say this is gonna be false), Yamamoto --> too much power, that no one can handle it.
2. We found out, that everyone's (including Yamamoto's) zanpakuto, have an Asauchi, which is like the soul of the sword. So everyone's, except Ichigo's, sword have that soul.
3. We see that Ichigo doesn't pass the test with the Asauchi (logical after what we are told later), and the weird guy with the glasses (whose name I've forgotten) wont fix Ichigo's zanpakuto. Is the real reason that he didn't pass the test?
Well, my theory is: Ichigo's zanpakuto, the one that doesn't have the same soul as everyone's else, is not a normal sword (obvious, I know), but it is his power itself. Ichigo's inner power, which we have seen that is being shattered often after some big, deep words, was altered after he was told his mother was a quincy, thus having his power decreased, and his sword "lost his strength".
The reason for not being fixed, is that, his zanpakuto actually being his power, he needs to stabilize his power, with some other deep, big words from his father, which will give Ichigo some peace, and making his zanpkauto recover it's original shape again. Again, this very same reason, is the real reason why his bankai can't be stolen. I think that the quincies, the thing they stole is the Asauchi, the soul, and put it into their "medallion", so they can have a full evolved Asauchi. Since Ichigo doesn't have that Asauchi, his bankai can't be stolen (and, since Yamamoto's Asauchi was too powerful, too evolved,so only another with the same power and experience that Yamamoto has could handle it, and it is no one but their boss).
What do you think? What are your thoughts? Am I crazy?
PS: Sorry If I've made any grammatical error, but I'm not english native, and I'm still learning.
