Too bad you didn't wait for all the questions. :| How does it move, smoothly or directly with harsheness? With what speed does it move? What is it weak and strong against? And finally, what state of mind is required when using ice?

Ice moves both smoothly and directly. It doesn't move with the harshness of earth or the pure smoothness of water or wind, but it mixes both of those.

Ice moves quickly but silently. I thought you'd know that. =/ Take Haku's Demon Ice Mirrors for example. Allows him to move with such unmatched speed.

Weak against almost nothing. The type of ice Yuukigakure uses is indeed weak against fire because it is real ice, however, Haku's ice is able to withstand this fire better, making the two elements nearly equal. This takes away the one main weakness of ice (though for snow jutsu, they will still be evaporated by fire quickly). It doesn't truly have any elemental comparission strength wise over any element.

Optimistic? Yeah... not really. =/ It requires a calm, though quick thinking mind. It requires a mind with a flow of thoughts that calmly piece themselves together, and a mind that can quickly apply those very thoughts with the utmost precision.

Meditating's over. Now let's see what you can do. *points to the snow* Get off of the lake and then make the snow rise up. To do this, focus your chakra into the snow, and then spread it throughout that snow. Afterwards, make your chakra rise up. And if you spread the chakra throughout the snow evenly, then it should do so. I want the pillar to be at least three times your height.

i charge my chakra and get it all through and fuse it with the snow where u pointed, and i keep my chakra contacted to me as i keep giving more chakra that spread all over the snow ... keeps giving and concentrating, then focus my chakra up with the snow that it imprison with the amount i gave and make it rise up so high " three times and a half higher then me

You focused so much chakra that you couldn't possibly hold it all within the meager amount of snow that you were rising. So you have a choice, use the same amount of chakra but spread it more for more snow, or simply use less chakra and try again. I advise you to do the latter since you're still new at this.

You rose it up too quickly, and you controlled the chakra nicely when you first began rising it, but after that milisecond, you got sloppy and didn't control the chakra s well. You didn't control it after it left the ground, and then since you rose it quickly, a blast of snow came from the ground.
