Ah yes, Fire is neutral to Yuki ice, I don't know if its differnt for yukigakure ice since in the movie sasuke did melt some ice, but it could have just been a weaker ice jutsu (It is labeled C rank in the ice jutsu list, same as the fire ball jutsu)Okay I'll do that. xD Oh, I didn't know about that difference lol. I might put him in the Yuki clan in my next update then, but that won't be for a while.
As Vegito responded to Tiashe, he realised that his teacher forgot to answer his question.
So um, how is ice in relation to fire? Is it neutral or weaker? Also, since I don't have the ability to make ice from air, can I create my own water source and manipulate it into ice?
Vegito then took Tiashe up to the top of a snowy mountain that was nearby. As he walked up, memories of his past came up in his mind, but he brushed them aside. When they reached the top, much to his surprise, Vegito said that he was going to leave him here for 6 months in the cold. As he started to leave, Tiashe stretched out his arm.
W-wait. Oh well, never mind...
Vegito already disappeared out of sight as the snow covered him. If Tiashe followed, he would just get lost in the snow which was getting heavier by the minute.
Aah, so what am I gonna do now.
Tiashe sat down on the snow covered ground, bringing his knees up to his chest and wrapping his arms around them. He huddled his body together to keep himself as warm as he could in the cold. But he was born in the Land of Snow. Hopefully he could survive this... But by the end of the week, Tiashe looked like he was about to die. He had to spam fire jutsu after jutsu just to survive, but his chakra would only last for so long... It was only later that Tiashe's body finally adjusted to the cold, his genes faithfully doing their duty.
By the end of the six months, Tiashe looked a bit feral. Having been all by himself for the whole time, his hair had grown wild, his body was thin from lack of food, and he became a little more hostile, given that he had not seen a single soul in six months. He had heaps of water though.
Good jobWhen his teacher finally returned after six months, Tiashe jumped at the sight of him, given he had not seen anyone for so long. He soon came back to his senses though as Vegito started speaking. Seeing the meat his teacher threw onto the ground, for some reason, Tiashe did not even feel like eating. Could it be that snow was enough for him now?
Vegito then sat down, in a meditating pose. The snow then promptly stopped, and Tiashe tilted his head sightly in curiousity, before realising it was Vegito's doing. As he was told to make it start snowing again, Tiashe nodded, but did not say anything. It seemed his time alone still acted a little detrimentally on him.
Tiashe began to mold chakra in his body, both wind and water. After combining it, he then released it into the sky above, making the temperature up there really cold, which prompted it to start snowing again. He looked to the sky, in awe that he could do something as magnificent as this. His emerald green eyes shone even brighter in this snow.
Following further instructions, Tiashe started to manipulate the snow falling around him. Sending his chakra into it, he condensed it, and shape manipulated it into the shape of a sharp weapon, with a blunt handle of course. Holding it, Tiashe started to cut up the meat, but the way he cut left the meat looking kind of butchered. Tiashe finally was comfortable enough to start speaking again. Shrugging, he spoke apologetically.
Sorry, I don't really know how to cut meat...
GoodAlright well for the first one, I would use it to cover the terrain with snow. Since my character needs a source for his techniques, this would be a good source. In battle, I would use it as soon as possible, allowing it to snow in the background whilst I am fighting. Then where there is enough, I can use it to fight with too. So, advantages would be that the snow covers the terrain up to long range, so techniques which require the use of the snow have a wide range to work with. Also, since it covers the ground, this technique would be irritating for people who use earth a lot, or for those who also require the terrain to change; e.g being corium. Disadvantages would be that it takes a few turns for the terrain to be covered, and sometimes a fight does not even last that long. That's the only disadvantage I can see with it to be honest.
For the next one, its advantages would be that it hinders the opponents senses due to the extreme cold, whilst the user will be quite fine. And this one also reaches up to long range, which is pretty cool. Disadvantages for me is that I can't use it since I need ice present. Also, it does not cause any damage, so the opponent could just claim they are not affected. If I change my character to the Yuki clan, I would use it in battle along with another technique which would hide me, and then sneak up on to the opponent. I could also use it to restrict the opponent's usage of fire techniques, as the freezing air would make the fire techniques weaker, I presume?
Good.Tiashe watched as his teacher threw several kunai in the air. They were attached to string, so Vegito could move them anywhere. Listening to the instructions, Tiashe sent his chakra into the snow around him, forming several needles of ice in the shape of swallows. They then flew through the air towards the kunai, hitting them down to the floor. Furthermore, they would change direction in the air if the kunai also changed their direction.
Well, one way I would use it is what I just did now. I would also use it to corner my opponent since this technique can move in midair. Another way to use it is if my opponent is falling and I send it towards them. Or, since they are not big, I could use them to attack in a situation where the opponent is occupied with a larger technique, or their sight is hindered, like in the hidden mist technique. Advantages are that they can change direction; that's the biggest advantage about it. Another thing is that it is very resistant to fire attacks. Disadvantages would be that it is not hard to defend against, and by themselves, each needle will be less than C-Rank individually, because the jutsu as a whole is that rank.
Good, another thing about ice is to think about it like earth release, except you don't need to be on the ground to use it. It also has the benefits of being able to create it from any angle which is something the needles take advantage of since they surround the enemy. I'll go more indepth with that when we hit the mirror jutsu.Alright.
Looking at his teacher's clone, Tiashe manipulated the snow underneath it so that as it rose, it formed into ice. The clone was encased in this ice of course. Now that it was frozen in place, Tiashe again manipulated the snow around the clone. As the ice formed, Tiashe manipulated it into the shape of many needles. These needles then converged to attack the clone, going through the ice encasing it was in to pierce him. The clone subsequently disappeared.
So for the ice prison, since it comes out of the ground, I guess I would only be able to use it on opponents on the ground. I would of course, use this one to trap the opponent and immobilize them, and if there's a technique that crushes their body, I would use that. I could also encase myself in it if the opponent attacks me, but only if their attacks are defendable by this rank. I assumed that this ice encasing is not that big, so I'm not sure how being able to move would be an advantage, given there would probably be very little room to move. But since we can move in it, can the user perform other ice techniques, or non-ice techniques, whilst inside the ice? If so, that would be an advantage. Another advantage is that it restricts the opponents movements. So for disadvantages, would it be right to say that once caught in it, the opponent can use a technique which does not require any hand seals or movements to escape from it? If so, then this technique is probably easily defendable against. Also, like most other techniques, the opponent would react to the ice coming out of the ground, probably before it encases them in it.
For the next one, I would preferably use it when I am in close combat. This is because the opponent would not expect me to use an attack which could seemingly harm me. They would not know that I could easily escape at the last moment. If I use it away from the opponent, I would like to use it after the hiding in frost technique, so that they can be disguised. An advantage is that it can be performed both whilst next to the opponent, or away from them. Also, since it surrounds the opponent from all sides, they would need to defend by using something that protects their whole body. Disadvantages are that they are not very hard to defend against, especially since the opponent can see them. Can only think of one for this one.
Good now use your ice chakra to create wolfs made of snow and have them run down hill towards my clone. While he's distracted create ice spears under his feet and when he jumps to avoid them create a narwhale made of ice above him so it'll stab him with its horn.I see, so I don't have to be on the ground. Pretty cool hm.
Tiashe looked at the body of water that his teacher pointed to. Gathering wind and water chakra, he sent it towards the lake, and infused it into it. He made the ice on top of the lake so thin, though it probably looked the same to an onlooker. If someone stepped on it, it was now so thin that they would fall through into the freezing waters below.
Once he had thinned out the ice, he noticed Vegeta throwing a kunai at him, which multiplied. But he also gave instructions on how to defend it with ice, which Tiashe followed. Sending his chakra into the air around him, he froze it so much that a dome of ice formed around him. It seemed like a pretty good defense, given that it covered everywhere around him, except for the ground. As the kunai arrived, they simply just hit the ice and fell to the floor with a clank.
Undoing the dome, Tiashe then formed a counter attack like his teacher told him to. Sending his wind and water chakra into the air again, he formed large icicle needles around the Yuki, before directing them to all land on Vegeta. He then got to explaining and analysing each of the techniques.
The thin ice is a pretty useful technique. I could use it when the opponent does not know that I am around. If he steps on the lake, he will fall in, and then I could finish him up whilst he is in the water. Wouldn't even need to have a battle haha. Or of course, I could use it if we both stand on the ice, but I would just make the area underneath the opponent brittle, sending them down. Since it does not cause any harm itself, I could also use this on myself, tricking the opponent that I fell in unwillingly. The strengths of this technique are that it is very versatile in its usages. it can also extend into long range. Disadvantages are that the opponent can simply just choose not to step onto the ice. Also, it requires five hand seals, which is a bit much.
The next one seems pretty useful too. It is a defense which forms very fast, and can block attacks. I would use it for situations like right now, and to also protect a comrade if they are next to me. I do have a question about this one though. Whilst inside the ice dome, can the user perform other ice techniques which take place outside the dome? For example, could I have performed that ice needle technique whilst still in the dome instead of having to undo it? And if that is not possible, can I perform for example a supplementary ice technique inside the dome? Anyways, strengths are that it covers the whole body except from underneath, and it forms pretty fast. Weaknesses are that it is only B-Rank, so there is a large variety of attacks that it can't protect against.
And for the last one, it is pretty similar to the previous ice needle technique, except it is larger and stronger. So I would use it in a similar way. Again, its strengths are that it can be used both whilst next to the target, or away from them, and it requires the opponent to counter with something that protects their whole body. Weaknesses are that it can be defended against easily, and it converges into one area, so the opponent can even just use a technique to move.
GoodNodding to Vegeta as he told him what to do next, Tiashe looked towards the top of a hilly area. Gathering chakra, he sent it towards that area, forming the snow over there into a pack of wolves. The wolves then started to run downhill towards Vegeta's clone, and they were rather fast due to the momentum they were gaining. Whilst they were running, Tiashe then created a bunch of ice spikes from the ground in front of them, prompting the wolves to jump up. But when they jumped up, he created a humongous white whale of ice above them with a large horn on it. The whale rammed its horn into then, destroying the wolves. After doing that combo, Tiashe paused before responding to his teacher.
So even a Yuki must have snow for the wolf technique eh... Anyways, for this technique I could use it when the enemy is on a lower ground than me, which is good since the wolves work better when going downhill. However, usually in battles, we are on even ground, so that might be a bit difficult to do. Advantages of this are tat it can go into long range, and they come charging downhill, which makes them pretty fast. Also, it can be used even on flt terrains, but it just won't be as fast and strong. Disadvantages are that even for a Yuki, snow must be present, so it can only be used in limited situations. Also, it would not be that hard to defend against by itself. I have a question for this though; can the wolves be created long range from the user? For example, if me and my opponent are both at the bottom of a hill, and I create it at the top instead of near me, then it comes charging down to attack only the opponent. Is that fine?
For the next technique, I could use it if the opponent is charging at me, much like how I just used it right now. I would also use it if they are falling from the air onto the ground, so that they can fall onto the spikes. Advantages are that one can form many spikes, or have the choice to make just one. Also, they are very big, so if I do use it on a falling opponent, they would have very little time to react, depending on how far they are from the ground. Disadvantages are that the ice spikes can be seen coming out of the ground, giving time to react. Not sure about any other weaknesses for this one cause it seems like a rather good technique to me.
For the last one, I can use it for both attacking and defending. Just like I used it in the air on the wolves, I can do that to other opponents too. I can also use it to defend against techniques coming to me, even when I am in the air. The advantages are that it has a horn, so it can attack both by ramming its body into the opponent, or driving its horn through them. It can also go up to long range. Similar to the wolves, can this one be materialised long range from the user? Disadvantages are that its a whale, so it has no legs lol, so it does not have flexibility in that way. Again, can only think of one weakness here.
First question: No, any jutsu that is B rank water can be frozen unless it has been boosted beyond a B rank (a jutsu that makes B rank A rank for example) and no the shards won't injury anyone, at best you can use the shards as your own ice source.Gathering chakra in his body, Tiashe released it as a harmless wave of water which formed a water source near Tiashe. Then gathering wind and water chakra, Tiashe released it into the ice around him, manipulating it into the shape of a giant tiger. With this tiger, he then directed it to the water, which it immediately froze upon making contact with. H emade sure it was far enough away from himself so he did not get injured.
This is a pretty awesome technique sensei, but I just have a couple of questions about it. Firstly, I'm assuming the tiger is the same size as a normal tiger? If that is so, then it can not block all techniques, but only ones with a narrow width? So for example, it would not be able to freeze a wide wall of water coming at me right? Second question is, when the water freezes and breaks apart, do the shards of ice go on to injure the opponent?
Tiashe then walked over to the clone, coming within five metres of it. Gathering chakra again, he released it into the ground around the clone's feet, causing ice to be encased around both it's feet. Performing a hand seal, he then manipulated the ice to grow into one large chunk, freezing the target completely. Quickly jumping back, Tiashe threw several senbon at the clone, shattering the ice which then exploded onto the clone.
Sensei, I'm just a bit confused about this one. Does it cover the whole body, or does it just combine the two ice cubes of both feet with each other and only freeze the feet?
Walking a few metres back, Tiashe created another water source which they stood on. This time, he gathered ice chakra in both his hands, before touching the surface of the water. The water rapidly started turning into ice before him, and Tiashe figured his teacher would be smart enough not to get caught in it. Once it was fully frozen, it felt stable to walk on.
With this technique, how come it does not affect the user even though they themselves are on the ice? Besides that, this is a pretty cool technique. One way I would use it is if I send the opponent below a water source. As they try to resurface, I would freeze the water, trapping them at their head or necks.
