I would like to add: Snow is very absorbent of sound. In that respect it would soften or "weaken" sound techs that come into contact with it. Hard part is making someone hit said snow with sound. You'll figure it out. Good day

Description: The user can quickly create an ice dome around his allies and himself to act as a defence. It is strong enough to withstand the assault of many exploding tags at once, remaining almost undamaged.

Now the above tech is not used much in the role play for some reason despite it's effectiveness but meh S rank spam is the way of the role play <_>.
Now this technique uses humidity in the air to it's advantage, the user through focusing his chakra into the air manipulates it and forms it into a dome, you must make this dome thick yet transparent, meaning that it must be durable while still allowing you to see outside.

Strong points:

  • This technique would be good to use to defend against wind and water technique as well as certain fire techniques.
  • The dome is formed all around the user.
  • It is transparent so the user could still have sight of his/her opponent.
Weak points:

  • Very weak to earth and lightning based techniques.
  • Can't be used to attack the opponent.
  • Can only be used to protect oneself.
Combinations-strategies: This technique wouldn't work well with any combinations since its a defensive technique.

How to perform the technique: I start by gathering my raw chakra throughout my entire body, I then mold the gathered raw chakra into a portion of water release chakra and a portion of wind release chakra, I then combine the wind and water chakra and form it into ice release chakra, I then focus the ice chakra all around me and have it materialize into a dome of ice which takes shape all around myself, though I make sure that the ice is transparent so that I could see my target.

Ways to counter: A simple lightning or earth technique of C Rank and above would destroy the Ice Dome.

(Hyouton: Rōga Nadare no Jutsu) Ice Release: Wolf Fang Avalanche Technique

Description: The user will create a pack of wolves made of snow that will rush down a mountain and attack the opponent. The user can also simply make a pack of wolves to attack the user without using the mountain, though the momentum they gain from their descent down a mountain makes the jutsu more effective.

Now the above technique is better when used in conjunction with a mountain since the wolves will gain a speed boost, but nevertheless it can be used without a mountain, it is also formed from preexisting ice/snow, although since you have the KG you can create it without pre-existing ice/snow, you can do so by performing three hand seals Rate—>Hare—>Dog although I believe that when you have mastered ice release, you gain the ability to use it with a single hand seal. When there is pre-existing ice/snow you simply manipulate it while using chakra manipulation and form the snow/ice into several wolves. And when not using pre-existing ice/snow you use moisture and humidity to form the wolves.

Now if you need to form a mountain you can use either Moving Earth Core/Wheel of Fortune technique/Raising evacuation.

Description: The user will create a single, or a large abundance, of very large ice spikes that will protrude from the ground. The spikes were shown to have been about the size, taller even, than a small house. The user can make multiple spikes that will rise up simultaneously in the same general vicinity, or a single one.

One of my favorite ice related techniques, this technique is quote simple and straight forward, the user will focus chakra into the ground, take advantage of the moisture, then use shape manipulation to from sharp spikes that emerge from the ground, the spikes number can be chosen by the user, may it be one or 1 billion(kidding .-.), but you know several ice spikes Can be created at a time.
Also the spikes are quite tall, reaching the height of a small house which is about the margin on short-mid range distance.
I recommend using this technique with the basic surrounding genjutsu, and to mask the sound you cause several earth pillars rise, or big objects of earth appear this will mask the appearance produced by the protruding ice.

How to perform the technique: I start by gathering my raw chakra throughout my entire body, I then mold the gathered raw chakra into a portion of water release chakra and a portion of wind release chakra, I then combine the wind and water chakra and form it into ice release chakra while also performing 3 hand seals, I then once the mountain source is created, I release my ice chakra into the mountain source and create Ice/snow wolves which run down the mountain and form into a great avalanche.

Ways to counter: One could use a lightning technique to pierce through and cancel out the ice technique or use a earthen wall to block the avalanche from reaching you.

  • I would say that these spikes are easily spotted while emerging from the ground.

Ways to counter: By using the lightning strike armor technique to envelop yourself in lightning so that the spikes won't be able to make its way past the lightning and pierce the body.

Now this technique was used through water, the user will erect the whale that had a horn out of the water, but when it was shown, it was shown used by someone with the hidden ability, so he had to manipulate the pre-existing ice in the water. But since you have the KG you can form it without the water source, but then again when I did that even mods weren't sure >_> So...

(Hyouton: Haryū Mōko) Ice Release: Tearing Dragon Fierce Tiger

Description: The user will create a giant tiger made out of ice. The tiger cannot even be slightly affected by any water release unless it is A ranked or above (or a combination of water and another element) as it freezes most water release attacks it comes in contact with.

Now this tiger is quite big, big enough for you to ride on, it is created by using humidity in the air and the surrounding area. Now this technique is said to freeze water techniques, well this can be used to your advantage when countering this technique, for example you can use gushing water imprisonment against it, the water will get frozen by the tiger, this will hinder the tigers movements, although the tiger will be able to 'burst' throughout the water due to elemental weakness, it can be still used for your advantage, for example if the opponent used this against you, you can use GWI to cause him and the tiger to be in the water, thus the opponent will get frozen inside the sphere momentarily.
Also you can put several explosive tags on the tiger, then when it is attacked you can cause the tags to explode, thus causing damage to the opponent, and if you want to be more sneaky, you can create the tiger around the tags/explosives, thus masking their presence even more unknown.
This tiger can also be used for defensive purposes, it is also quite fast in it's movements.

Ways to counter: I would counter this technique by slicing through it with a lightning technique to cancel it out or use a simple technique like wind stream to evade the technique, as It doesn't say that it lasts for a long time, so I assume it could only be used for a single attack.

(Hyōton: Bakusai Hyōshō) - Ice Release: Blasting Ice Crystal

Description: The user firsts traps the target's feet to the ground by freezing ice onto them. They then uses a specific hand seal which causes the chunks of ice at the target's feet to grow into one large chunk, freezing the target completely. Quickly jumping back they throw several senbon at the frozen target. It partially cracks the chunk of ice, and then shatters outward, damaging the target once more.

This is pretty much a summon stopper to be completely honest. There aren't too many summons that would be able to stop you from freezing them completely. By the time they try to jump or something you would perform the handseal. They would then land on the ground and shatter themselves. Most Summons don't have Lightning or Fire chakra to destroy it. It would force the user to have to either sacrifice their summon or find a way to deal with it on their own. In a cannon fight there aren't too many ways to get out of this either, most of them lightning related, a couple of earth ways, fire would only hurt yourself more than help.

In order to perform this technique you must freeze the opponents feet through using your ice chakra, once that is done you perform a hand seal and cause the ice to engulf your opponent completely. Then you throw several senbons at the frozen opponent, the senbons will crack the ice causing more damage to the opponent.

Combinations-strategies: I would use this technique with chidori or raikiri, for when the target is still trapped within the ice, I could slam a chidori or raikiri through the ice and kill the target.

How to perform the technique: I start by gathering my chakra throughout my entire body, I then mold the gathered raw chakra into ice release chakra, after that I focus my ice chakra beneath both of my opponents feet and release it causing ice to form all around my targets feet and restrict his movements, I then perform a specific hand seal and cause the ice to rise all over the targets body, and engulf his entire body in ice, I then releases several senbon of ice at the trapped target and have it deliver further damage to my target.

Ways to counter: One could release a surge of unfocused lightning through the users feet and destroy the ice and then just counter the ice senbon with a wisespread earth technique.

Combo #1: (Hyōton: Bakusai Hyōshō) - Ice Release: Blasting Ice Crystal

I would first attack with this technique in order to trap my target within ice.

(Raiton: Gian) - Lightning Style: False Darkness

Then use false darkness and release a spear of lightning to decapitate my target as he is frozen in the ice.

Combo #2: (Suiton: Dai Bakusui Shōha) - Water Release: Great Exploding Water Colliding Wave

I would use the colliding wave technique to create a large wave which I manipulate to attack from high above my target in the air.

(Hyouton: Haryū Mōko) Ice Release: Tearing Dragon Fierce Tiger

I then use Fierce Tiger and have the tiger freeze the wave into a large wave of ice, and I would then toss a couple of explosive tagged kunai at the wave and have it explode the ice wave into a shower of ice which would rain down on my opponent from above.

I would use this technique to envelop my body in lightning and pierce through the ice before it is able to trap me as well as attack before the spear can be released

Counter for Combo #2: (Doton: Dai iwa Kyojin no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Great Stone Golem Technique

I would create a golem to protect me from the large chunks of dropping ice as well as attack my opponent.

Now this technique is a great technique as it doesn't require humidity/moisture and what not, it is initiated through the uses own body; the user will thrust his hand forwards and unleash a black dragon from his hand, the dragon is capable of changing direction while in mid air, it can also be used to attack several opponents due to it's size. Also this technique can be used for transportation, you can create it beneath your ally and move it around, this will help in multiple attacks and what not.
Also it can be used to protect yourself from attacks

Description: The user will gather particles into the air and change them into a disk of ice. The ice disks are transparent, and they are therefore nearly invisible at a distance, and difficult to dodge or see until they are very close. They can also be used as highly durable shields or can be used to allow the user to hover in the air by using standing on it. Because of their transparency, the ice disks can be used as a large lens to focus rays of heat from the sun into a powerful beam to capable of melting or exploding a pinpointed area.

One of the most epic ice techniques, it has
  • Offensive Uses: It can be used to attack the opponent via several ways: The first being through the sun, due to the transparency of the technique rays of light can be reflected through the disk, so you can cause fires, or you can blind the opponent through technique, but you must keep in mind the weather, angle of refraction, and position of your opponent, if you opponent is for example looking at the ground you can't blind him...unless you use several disks of ice, reflecting the light from one disk to another until it reaches the opponents line of sight ~_~ And unless you are retarded you shouldn't try that >_>
    The second way to attack is by using the disks themselves to attack, you can exploit their transparency to attack the opponent, I recommend attacking the Knees since it will be harder for them to notice it, and getting hit in the knees is surely a bîtch.
  • Defensive uses: Well this technique allows you to create four ice disk, of you create 3 each will be C rank, if you create 2 each will be B rank, and 1= A rank. You can use this to protect yourself and allies from incoming attacks.
  • Supp uses: You can use it to hover in the air, thus providing a means of faster transportation. It can also be used to transfer allies or dead bodes O_O. Also since sun rays can be concentrated through the disks, you can burn ropes that are restricting you.
This technique exploits humidity in the air to create a disk of ice, I want you to focus on the shape of the ice disk, then through shape manipulation you create it, you can create four copies of the disk, the ranks of them are stated above
