Hey I'm busy this weekend so it'll be slow till Monday but we can atleast get the pre jutsu warmups done.

Tell me what is ice release and what do you know about it? Tell me its weaknesses and strengths and an example of its useage from the anime or movies.

Ice Release is an advance nature that is combined with the user’s water chakra and wind chakra. The element is a hiden and kekkai genkai nature. The users of the Yuki clan uses it to an extent that they can create their own ice and ice related technique such frost and or snow. The user’s from Yukigakure which is from the Clash in the Land of Snow movie is more like a hiden ability where they can manipulate already existing snow/ice. Im not sure if on base we are allowed to manipulate both as I see kinda useless to separate the two abilities but that’s just my two cents.

The element is strong against water release. The reason is because ice’s temperature is lower then water, hence worth the water will freeze on contact with the ice. Wind is weak to Ice because winds current flow will simply decrease the temperature of the ice. Fire is neutral to the ice produced by Yuki clan’s variant of the technique and can play on equal terms though in some cases the fire is too weak to handle the ice.

Ice release is weak to Lightning similar to Crystal, as the lighting’s destructive nature will shatter the ice, while the earth is too dense for the ice to comeback against hence that Earth release is an effective counter vs Ice. Ice is also weak to Sound Release as the vibrations will shatter the ice’s structure.

She let out a large “Ehhhhhh?!” but was quick to submit to her sensei’s orders. She remained still in the middle of the large glacial paradise where she would spend hours using her chakra to adapt to the environment. Spending the month of this path allowed her body to become one with the cold, even at low levels. The young lady went from shivering to remaining completely calm and unphased by the weather

Taking each step as she made it to the dense , cold open area she shivered at the thought of having to stay here. Tashigi then suddenly noticed a note that she must stay here to survive for a month. She let out a large “Ehhhhhh?!” but was quick to submit to her sensei’s orders. She remained still in the middle of the large glacial paradise where she would spend hours using her chakra to adapt to the environment. Spending the month of this path allowed her body to become one with the cold, even at low levels. The young lady went from shivering to remaining completely calm and unphased by the weather

Doing as she is told; Tashigi makes a single hand seal. As she does the seal, she begins to channel her ice chakra throughout the area. The temperature of the area started to drop, evident in the mist being formed over the area. The ground now covered in the frost, extending all around her she can see way she was told to train in such cold areas. She then uses the frosts covered area as her play ground as she jumped quietly from tree to tree killing off each clone she made in advanced.

She then lands on the ground where she looks at Haku with a smile.

Well naturally the cold nature of the technique alone will make it uneasy for shinobi who can’t handle the low temperature changes. The frost also covers a wide range across the board of the field making it quite useful when using it for undercover attacks. One of the cons of the technique is that even though it makes its own mist, the mist isn’t as thick compared to the Hidden Mist one and thus doesn’t hinder the eye sight of the enemy that well. The mist can be blown away which strong wind currents so its easy to remove the conditions.

One thing I noticed is the -5 per turn cost rate which is actually a bummer as then it needs to be constantly fueled in order to keep it active. Another thing is that though the frost is there, the user should be able to manipulate the frost from a range due to be made of ice and consisting of the user’s chakra.

The main area id use this is most likely in a closed area like a forest, as it creates a wide range of angles using the trees to fire off attacks using the Frost.

Doing as told, Tashigi began to channel her chakra into the sky above, manipulating temperature to drop yet again but this time the clouds above her and the area begins to form dark menacing looking clouds. It was only a matter of time that she released the chakra in order to form snow to begin to fall from the sky above. This covers the area in a small amount of time but still not super-fast, leaving the ground covered in snow.

Tashigi then channeled her chakra into the surrounding air and to which she then materializes the chakra through it , to create a pillar of ice underneath her sensei sending him into the sky but not too high. She simply smiles and awaits further instructions.

Well this technique is the grace of the entire arsenal or the tool set of the element. The user can pretty much make anything out of the technique due to the fact that it can used in different ways such as making weapons, pillars and structures. The versatility of the jutsu is only limited to the imagination of the user.

The main con I can see is that its only up to C-rank but we have a stronger variant of it later on in the line and that you cant make too extreme things like a forest of ice for example as this would be mainly for the advanced and stronger version as it would need more chakra then normal.

Good, however you couldn't make a forest of ice even with the advanced one you can form anything out of ice with these jutsu but only one of it like one piller or one tree of ice but not multiple at once unless you use the jutsu multiple times.

Next make several needles shaped like swellows and have them attack the clone over there then once again pros cons etc.

Hyouton: Tsubame Fubuki) Ice Release: Swallow Snow Storm

Description: The user will shoot out a cluster of needles, shaped like swallows, which will fly out toward their target with great speed. The swallows are unable to be dodged as they can change direction in mid-air, redirecting themselves to hit their target. This jutsu is also highly resistant to fire attacks, unable to be destroyed by fire jutsu unless it is higher than C ranked.

Manipulating her ice chakra into the air surrounding her, she then manipulates the shape of the chakra to shoot forward and take shape into that of a swallow. Once she does this, she directs the path of the ice swallows to fly up and come down, crashing onto her enemies with little to no effort. The enemy would then try to destroy the swallows but Tashigi manipulates it further by changing the direction midflight and then coming from the back of the enemy instead.

The main pros is that the technique is fast, resistant to fire and can be manipulated mid flight to create some sick combos. The size also very convenient and can be used for sneak attacks while also the pro of being airborne makes it harder for the enemy to attack them using the ground or physically. One con I can see is that the ice swallows are still weak, and can be easily countered with a proper defense.

With a shallow look in her eyes, Tashigi had not much of a choice but making channeling her chakra into the air around her, she creates a swift solid dome of ice. The ice is strong enough to block the shuriken assault her teacher sent towards her but she didn’t faulter and simply remained solid to the end of the assault.
The pros of this is that is pretty quick to form and provides a solid defense but the con is, it doesn’t protect from behind the user and so it can’t save them if the ice shield is already in play. At can be wide enough to protect others as well.

With a shallow look in her eyes, Tashigi had not much of a choice but making channeling her chakra into the air around her, she creates a swift solid dome of ice. The ice is strong enough to block the shuriken assault her teacher sent towards her but she didn’t faulter and simply remained solid to the end of the assault.
The pros of this is that is pretty quick to form and provides a solid defense but the con is, it doesn’t protect from behind the user and so it can’t save them if the ice shield is already in play. At can be wide enough to protect others as well.

well it does protect from behind its udner you thats really open one earth jutsu and you're done.

Next the same thing as the needles before but a stronger version.

(Hyouton Hijutsu: Sensatsu Suishō no Shi) – Secret Ice Release: Flying Needles of Death and Destruction

Description: A stronger version of the original Flying Needles of Death gathers large amounts of Needles from the air and surrounding environment into more than a thousand needles. He then directs the needles to a specific target, and leaps back to avoid damage to himself. The difference is that these needles are literally icicle spikes, and after damaging the target the icicle spikes melt into a light cold rain.
