Kakashi’s pov
The words of my sensei kept running through my brain as I packed my belongings. Clothes clothes clothes I muttered to myself as I sprinted of to my wardrobe. It was strange how I wasn’t someone who dressed to impress. Maybe it was the fact that Rin would be with me? Who knows? I packed a few sets. Most of them were either button up shirts; Tight sports type shirts or t-shirts. As for pants, I kept it simple and went with jeans or track pants. As I headed back into the lounge, I quickly went into the bathroom and grabbed my toothbrush. Hm, it’s a bit empty….. Sure enough, my bag looked like nothing was in it. Suddenly, I realized what I was missing.
My MAKE OUT PARADISE SERIES!!! A smile spread across my face as I walked into my bedroom to grab all three copies of the series. It was amazing how these books always tended to amaze me. Once I had stuffed them in my suitcase, I decided to run down to the bookstore and grab a few more copies. I mean really, who knows how long we might be gone? Might as well buy the whole series.

“Wow, I cant believe its finally out!!!” I turned my head to see a group of young males standing in line, all gawking over one thing. My uncovered eye widened as I took in what I saw. MAKE OUT TACTICS WERE GOING TO BE REALISED….TODAY!!! As quick as I could, I pushed myself into the line. There were hundreds of people in front of me. All here for one reason. To get their very own copy of ‘make out tactics.’ I giggled in my head as I thought of what might happen in this issue. Two spots in front of me, I saw a blond haired girl. What the??? Girls read the series?!?!?!?! Man that must be awkward.
“Kakashi, I knew you would come!” I turned my head to see the glorious man himself. Jiraiya senpai! The author of this book and the sensei of my sensei. “Ive waited so long for this book to finally be realized and now its time!” He looked so proud off himself as he said it.
“Well I’ve been waiting a pretty long time to read it too. Hey, would ya happen to have a special edition this time?” I secretly crossed my fingers, hoping that he would’ve created a special edition. “Well” he started as he brought his right hand up to his chin. “I did have some until they sold out” My heart sunk. How could this be??? He chuckled at my horrified expression. “That’s what I like to see. A true fan.” He continued to laugh as he reached down into his lower back pouch and pulled out none other than a special edition ‘make out tactics book “But seeming that you’re one of my most loyal customers, I’ll let you have this one free of charge!” “REALLY?!?!?!” I couldn’t help the goofy grin that was spreading across my face. If it hadn’t been for my mask, I would’ve looked like a real idiot.
“Arigato, Jiraiya Senpai”.
“Haha, no problem”
My eyes scanned the front cover of the book. Man, cant wait to read this! But sadly, this should be read for ultimate boredom busting. Sighing, I stuffed it inside my back pouch before bumping into none other than guy.
“Kakashi, what brings you here on such a lovely summers day? Shouldn’t you be training? Look at me. If you want muscles like mine, you’d better start working for them. “Like yours??!?!” I blurted while I was going into hysterics. “What are you on about??? I’m the one with muscles.” I Brought my arm up, showing him my muscles. Well, I didn’t have the biggest ones in the street but that didn’t mean I wasn’t well built!
“Whatever you say, Kakashi ol’ buddy, ol pal. Why don’t we have one of our famous races around the village. I heard you were going out on a mission tomorrow so we might as well race now. We never know when your coming back” He smiled one if huge smiles, revealing his shiny white teeth. “Oh its on guy.” I smirked at him as the two of us set out for the village gates.
We reached the village gates and split up. I stood on the right side while guy stood on the left. I looked at him, determined as ever. A smile appeared on my face. Guy was one of my closest friends. We had been doing these silly little challenges for who knows how long! For fun, we called ourselves ‘Eternal rivals’.

“GOOOO!!!” we both yelled at full volume. We made a made dash through the village. The speed I was going at was crazy! My legs must have looked like jelly. Side by side be ran, not allowing the other one to move even an inch further. As we jumped on the roofs off apartments, houses and shops, we as always, attracted the attention of the villagers. Little children laughed and cheered as the adults gave us nervous smiles. Suddenly, the two of us had jumped and were now heading down a steep slope. I must have looked like a mad man! Legs and arms flying everywhere! At top speed, I couldn’t determine whether or not I was running or falling. A goofy grin stuck itself onto my face as guy was showing his shiny white teeth of again. Now to make matters worse, there was a strong gust of wind. Blowing the exact same way that we were running in. Wow, this feeling of adrenaline seems to never leave me. My eyes seemed to be popping out of my face as I saw that guy was struggling to hold it together. We ran and ran until we reached the end of the slope. As it slightly ascended, we were quickly airborne. “Hahah” My laugh came out muffled as we gradually came closer to our finishing point. Now for the tough part. Running up the cliff which had the faces of our previous hokages.
We were both running up a horizontal cliff, not letting the other one advance, as we reached the top, I ran/sprinted/ mad dashed to our usual checkpoint. Just as I was about to touch it, Guy did a rugby ‘touch’ and went head first over our check point.
“I,(pant pant), wi-win the ra-ceee” His face was red but he wasn’t defeated. He soon managed to shoot out a huge grin.
“Just your luck,(pant pant puff) this was the first time this month you won” my sides were burning and I felt like my legs were gonna give way. The feeling of adrenaline was gone but my anticipation and excitement lived on.
“Awesome” We both grinned as we hi-fived each other. I slowly made my way down the cliff and back to my apartment. What a way to end the day. Hm, Well, I hope this mission wont be a total drag. But then again, how could it be? I had rin, and that was all I needed
