He is reflecting on that they said and what is the reality now, and sakura only could talk about sasuke back then so he thought about how she changed in that aspect. It's good development to see she has come a long way especially seen between her and naruto as she could not stand him before.

Actually you didn't read what Kakashi said properly, he implied that Sakura feels like she must save Sasuke from the darkness and doesn't have any romantic interests in him. So Sakura's feelings towards Sasuke have changed for the better, not for the worst.
