I think it's good that Minato is a Namikaze

It goes to show that you don't need to be from a "fancy" or well-known clan in order to become an extremely powerful ninja. If he was somehow directly related (blood) to any of the major clans I'd be highly disappointed, because then the whole narutoverse would be one-sided, favored by major clans.

Just thought I'd share this with you guys, seeing there has been a lot of Minato-Senju talk recently.

If kishimoto made Minato a Senju, I'd be highly disappointed. How do you guys feel about this?

Yes, I agree with you in that he's better not being from a famous clan. He build himself and became a powerful shinobi without relying on a bloodline-limit. Though if he was a Senju that would explain how he invented more than one technique; because Senjus were known as "Ninjas with 1000 skills/techniques". Still, being Namikaze is better imo.

That's just a misconception people are forming because this part of the story focuses on certain clans, and since this is what may be the final arc, Kishi needs to make them strong.
