I think it's good that Minato is a Namikaze

In the Narutoverse, you don't need to come from a fancy clan to be strong. That's just a misconception people are forming because this part of the story focuses on certain clans, and since this is what may be the final arc, Kishi needs to make them strong. People just need to open their eyes a bit more.

This. Im not sure where people get these non sense from. It seems nobody thinks for themselves and outright goes by somebody else's opinion. There are strong ninja's out there who are not affiliated to uchiha/senju/uzumaki. If anything though minato doesnt belong to any of these clans his wife an uzumaki made him stronger by teaching him, her clans fuinjutsu's so he does have ties with one of the major clans in the series though he isnt related to them.

The same cannot be said about the raikage's, jiraiya, oro, kisame, sasori and so on

Minato s mother was a senju and his father a namikaze thats why he go with the namikaze name and he learned the sealing trade by the uzumakis

The truth to me is minatos team all have special last names except obito, since he is a special case.

Namikaze, nohara, hatake.

But regardless of that i still personally consider them all senju-ish

BTW its not confirmed if thats even a clan. It can just be a last name.
