First of all, we all know that tobi's technique involves entering in another dimension, in order to become invulnerable to incoming attacks, which basically means that while his body can be seen in the real world, it has been simulteanously(not sure if spelled correctly) sent to the other dimension. Now about Gedo Mazo, my theory is that Tobi can use that same technique in other objects/beings(not the warping, the invulnerable thing), which would explain why tobi dodged naruto's attack while kakashi was using kamui on gedo mazo, as you can see in the link below.
Which basically means that if kakashi uses kamui on gedo mazo, tobi will be vulnerable for incoming attacks, and will be unable to absorb his opponents, which makes the task of killing him pretty much easier.(Unless he decides to let the gedo mazo be warped away, which is very unlikely)
So what do you think?
