What i mean here that all tobi did obito did ,it just doesn't fit correctly idk but it doesn't seem right tobi is like a whole different person.

Because you know who he is now. With the mask on, he had no identity for others or even himself as he stated.

I knew it was him from the beginning with how goofy he was being, the left eye, the hair style, the swirling eye technique that resembled kamui and he still kept most of his nihilistic personality throughout the war arc; Naruto just persuaded him through all his actions through part 2 because they were so alike.
