Hey there! I was surfing around the net looking for manga images so I could have references for a drawing I was about to make. Suddenly a browser notification appeared when I clicked through one of the links from the website I was looking at. It said something about illegally downloading a manga(I didn't download anything when I clicked that link and the manga was sure as hell unlicensed here in the States). It listed my IP address(I'm using a secured wi-fi too), the city I'm living in, the web browser that I was using and some other things. I also clicked a button in that message too. I didn't use any torrent application at that time either. Sadly, I wasn't able to copy the message because my browser suddenly crashed while I was clicking through other websites(I do tab browsing a lot). Am I in really big trouble? Should I panic? Is this a virus? (I'm really scared and about to cry here too)

That reminds me of a time when my friend downloaded a Paranormal Activity movie torrent, and about a week later he received a legit letter from Paramount Pictures warning him to not do it again or face a fine. Lol, at least they were nice. But back to your issue, I'm not so sure. I can have a website that tracks people's IP, and from that I can easily tell you where you potentially live.

Oh I didn't join here just to asked this question though. I think I joined because I wanted to post something in one of the Naruto discussion threads back then but somehow I just didn't follow through. But I still use this account to view some threads. I think I'm what you call a lurker or something....(Is a lurker bad? Because I really don't know). Still thank you for the welcome party :)

Back on topic, they say they were going to report me. And a Japanese message was on the right side of the English message. The date stated was April 1. Is this an April Fools joke or something? Because I'm scared as hell.
