Well you have to. Better to let go now than later cause you're only gonna sink further and further. I haven't been in a similar situation like you but I've had issues letting go in the past. It's one that starts affecting your whole life, whether you want it to or not. Let me say this: If you don't let go, your life will only get worse. Look what Necro said above, he felt like it was a mistake to not let go and managed to hold on for 4 years. It doesn't sound like he enjoyed the end result of the ordeal. You got to try and find another girl cause you're pretty much playing a game of tug of war with this girl and you got hands full of lotion and water. You're bound to lose, it's only a matter of time. It's best to let go now before you get in too deep in the water cause otherwise, you're just gonna drown.

Edit: Like I said before, you can make it work but it sounds like you got more going against you than for you. You need to talk to this girl and get an answer yourself. Be straight up with her and tell her your concerns and see what she says. See how genuine she is when she talks and make your decision from there.

I know this has nothing to do with naruto....but i really need some light on this one.am currently a second year student,4 weeks ago i met this other girl at on campus she is doing 1 year.we went out a couple of times and she told me she was dating this other guy he left at home(were she comes from) after going out a couple of days we started having *** up until a days back and within that period i started developing feelings for this girl and i told her that but she just replied by saying i care for you too...am in a stage where i want a relationship with this girl even though we really stay far from each other...WHAT AM ASKING IS SHOULD I GIVE ME AND HER A CHANCE AND HOPE SHE WONT DO THE SAME THING TO ME OR IS SHE JUST USING ME FOR *** ONLY?????advice will be appreciated coz am really confused and don't know what to do

I've bee in a situation similar to what your experience, if you want the honest truth dump her ass and move on. you're in college right?. Girls like that that have a relationship and still fool around arn't worth the stress involved. sometime down the road if you guys ever start a relationship, who's to say she wouldn't pull the same stunt again. every time you're apart you will always have that fear of her cheating on you, since she already did for you lol. causing lots of trust issues drama headaches fights which eventually leads to either you cheating on her to get to her before she gets to you( Know what i mean?)

The best way to get a girl like this is so simple. Ignore her. She'll want you more. Trust me, I've done this before and it works. Whenever a girl like this is messing around with you, your more like a tool to them. The only way to get under her skin, is by turning the tables on her, make her the tool. If you show her too much attention she'll ignore you, but if you don't show you any, she'll be the one chasing after you, wondering why your not giving her the attention she needs.

This is why you shouldn't hook up with a girl and expect something to come of it. I hate to say it man but you gotta play to win, find yourself a girl that you care for and go for the long run. Doesn't mean you have to be creepy and talk about kids and marriage the second week you've known her but you should be going in for some sort of permanency.

A side note, I'm not judging you or saying any of this with condemnation, *** will screw a lot of things up. reason i posted it here is because people who dont really know you the will give you good or bad advice without considering your feelings and am not breaking the guy code since i dont know her bf and i have never bad mouthed him in any way

I'm going to be blunt, but that's attachment. It's still not love, basic foundation of a relationship. That's her wanting to get her piece of cake and eat it too.

I understand the *** must been great hard to let that go, but like Genrou said read the signs shes giving you. majority of time when people confess about cheating they aren't telling you the whole truth do to the risk of them might losing that person. the last thing you want is for her boyfriend to hear about whats happened and cause a scene at your college. just tell her "listen can't keep playing games here its him or me" be that alpha male not that alpha chump that would jump at her request.
