well you can counter an attack the person and if you have clones you can attack with you clones. i'll give you an example.

Kage Bunshin no Jutsu (Shadow Clone Jutsu)x10
2 clones use Odama Rasengan (Great Ball Rasengan)
2 clones use Wind Release: Pressure Damage (Fūton: Atsugai)
2 clones useFuuton: Renkudan (Wind Release: Drilling Air Bullet)
