The Originals is a good one. It has murder, mystery, romance and above all, family.

Also Gotham might be interesting too

EDIT: The vampire diaries might also be good if you're into young high school love. It's the prequel to the originals so it's a lot like the originals. Things get more interesting after first 1 or 2 seasons.
