nice theory miggy thats what i thought all along.... i think the reason for madaras long life is his eternal managkyou sharingan thats grants him imortal life but he still can be killed as a regular person. I know thiis is tyhe manga section but in the anime they state that danzou is under permanete surveillance so how would he be able to be mizukage while being watched by tsunades anbu.
And for the obito theory if he had to get a dead uchiha body why would he have to pick obitos as he could have picked a stronger body with a more developed sharingan if he wanted when he and itachi massacred the clan becauseitachi didnt do it all alone.

Sorry to jump in so late. i'm not one to beleive or not beleive rumors, cuz in reality, how can you rule anything out. In this case, the last image of Obito is him being crushed under so many rocks, if this was in my backyack and it was my neibor under it, I'd say hes dead. However, this is Naruto. how many times have we seen people crushed, drowned, plundered, stabbed.... and guess what they come back. I'm not saying Tobi is Obito or not, but I cant say I'm 100% sure he is or is not. In reality, theres more proving he isnt, but again, hes a ninja with chakra and the sharingan. Ok now hes only got one, but kakashi did pretty well with only one this whole time... I wont beleive anything until i see it come out officialy. I just dont like people saying that its IMPOSSIBLE for it to be true. I almost want to say that about the Tobi/Danzou theory, but again, its not IMPOSSIBLE. There's enough evidence to suggest a 0.01% chance these theorys are possible. But it would be a nice twist if it was Obito, being controled by Madara, or even from his own free will...

Now I only read a few pages of this thread cuz it was just repeating itself. Just wanted to give my 2 cents.

What do he have here, its madara talking to itachi. But thats just it, its MADARA. Look at the hair and the body shape. Itachi is thirteen in this picture. How do I know? easy, itachi killed his clan soon after becoming a anbu captain at the age 13.
Lets take it back. Obito was in the group with Minato. If this is true, that means obito died before the kyuubi attack. Kyuubi attack was 7 years before itachi killed the clan. When itachi was 6.(madara said so him self) Then that means obito died about 8 years before the clan was killed. But madara was talking to itachi meaning Madara still had his own body, he didnt take obitos body unless your suggesting madara is in a 8 year old dead body. Which is not possible.
