And yes it's going to become a lot better. The Davy Back Fight arc (very short) might not be that spectacular and the Skypiea arc is somewhat controversial (some love, other hate it), but from the Water 7 and Enies Lobbies arcs the story really gets going

Is baroque works before or after Luffy fights Ussop? Or is it after the 2 year timeskip?

It's before the time skip and before that fight. It's the prior arc to Alabasta I believe, or little garden, I'm not entirely sure tbh.

OT: man only upto baroque works and enjoying it? Man just wait and take your time, when you reach water 7 and ennies lobby you'd be picking your jaws, and after the thriller bark arc, sabody archipelago, impel down and marineford, all the epic arcs altogether. Take your time and enjoy it man, I'm also a big one piece fan myself and consider the series to hold a higher place then naruto on my list lol.

so they balance well if both are watched
