[Discussion] I have converted.

It has finally been done. Not only have I found something that defeated my prior belief but it has actually replaced my way of thinking.

I'm of course talking about liking One Piece more than Naruto.

It was a hard decision, but after getting past the chapters of Baroque Works I have found that I enjoy One Piece more than Naruto. I still have a lot of reading to go but it has already surpassed Naruto in action, humor and emotion. No major spoilers please, but does it get much better?

But yes,evrey arc gets better and better until you hit Thriller Bark Arc which isnt that bad but it cant rly compete with the others imo and then from then on its all epic (rly epic actually but no spoilers )

Gets a lot better. I must admit I felt the same way about One Piece, having started it long after Naruto. You are in for a treat.

I did watch the anime's Marineford arc though. It was very intense, very emotional, and very awesome.

That one I did see. I tried to find it on YouTube to watch but to no avail. Stopped trying after first one though haha.

It only gets better and be sure to pay close attention to details cuz there r a lot of elements that you will see later in the story. Nothing is irrelevant. One Piece is truly deserving of the title #1 manga in Japan

Only to the Baroque Works saga and you find it better. I say the last arc of that saga can complete with a lot of arc in Naruto, but not surpass them all. That is done 4-5 arcs from where you are currently. The next 2 arcs are a little bit less intense then what you just watched but the story and how it all ties together is amazing. There is a hiccup after skypeia called the Davy Back Fight and but it really isn't that long. The anime does a horrible job with it adding in fillers, changing the story, and adding more fillers after the somewhat canon arc. Then you will get to Water 7 and things just get so intense and awesome words can't describe.


Enjoy the ride and take your time. It's not a race to catch up.

It does get much better, and yes, in my opinion, it's much better then Naruto.​
