i think that we should put parenthesis around the code for smilies. so for , instead of :D, it should be (:D).

And then for , instead of :p, it should be (:P)

I agree that he shouldn't have really made a thread for it but I don't think he's talking about smilies. It's like when you have a jutsu with the letter D or P after the colon.

Those who have a problem with putting a space between this ":" and any of the other combinations that follow is simple just try and put a space there. There isn't a need to go and change the format of the smiley emoticons over a little matter.
