I have a few problems with RP'ing ...

Well here are some problems and some things that i don't know how to address.
How would someone go about RP'ing if that's all they do ? We all know there is not way you can compete with these OP role-players with B and A rank justu only(Jounin). I have many friends who would love to join the NB (RP)community but they just don't post enough on the site to gain post count to even compete. I just told them to stop, in the end its a waste of time..

Onward with the suggestion, i almost forgot about it. I suggest we make it more easier for people to migrate to the site if they're only here for RP'ing. Because spamming in the forum games for 5K - 14K posts is just not happening. There has to be another way to gain posts or another thing introduced to allow people who are dedicated to roleplaying to be able to do so without spamming in the forum games for an outrageous amount of time. Even myself, who is here for a lot of time still hasn't even scratched OP status. I can't imagine a person here for RP only getting anywhere.

The last thing i wanted to quickly talk on, is how arguing is in RP.. More recently the -Minato- vs Igneel battle. The inability to ignore a slight mistake in their opponents move causes the whole battle to be messed up , and multiple people get to arguing in the thread. I'm sure some mistakes is worth arguing , but for RP to work the slightest mistakes must be ignored.. Or there will be nothing but arguing.

Question to you all : Any ideas on how RP only members can make it ? Or is it not possible ?

O__o I have been here a little over a year and have slightly over 5k posts and I am on NB 24/7 what do you mean it doesn't take long??

Got all my posts rp'ing. Started out in Konoha Town the birthplace of Nb rp, where you learn the basics. Or well where you used to learn the basics. Like how to rp as yourself but still do everything rp wise like fighting, talking, making friends (it's not the same anymore though.) Then I moved onto Battle Arena and Training Grounds at around Jounin. Back a long time ago Sannin, Kages and Sages wouldn't just go all out against someone weaker they would hold back that way the Jounin could have fun and learn they'd tell us what to do and how to use certain jutsu when we fought. If we made a mistake they'd point it out and most times the fight could continue as is or they'd let us edit. Nowadays it's a lot different it's mainly about winning tbh and winning isn't always they way to have fun. I still try to rp like the Sannin, Kages and Sages did back then helping when I can (if I'm fighting say a jounin) but there is no need to call techs and end a fight on that there is always the edit button to fix mistakes. The only times I go full force is when I'm having fun and actually enjoying the moves or counters I'm using.

But yeah dude I don't have problems with OP jutsu and all, I do believe that every one of those "OP" jutsu can be countered or else they won't approve of it, or that's the normal case. And TBH post counts are a good way in determining your Rank, or at least for now, forum games are for spam, so that is fixed. And look at me a whole year for 5000 posts .-. and I'm active as hell xd

As for the arguing, it's a must xd humans can't agree on everything, just learn this and keep it in mind, Mods and Senseis are always right even when they are wrong. Don't argue cause you won't win against them, and Finally become OP and then Shut their mouths by owning them :3

The moment you wrote the part i bolded you lost all credibility for a suggestion if there was any. But since you didn't do a suggestion nor asked a question, no need to keep this open.

Based on what you just said I came to the conclusion that there isn't really something wrong with the RP, but simply how you and your friends perceive games as you said a few things that don't make much sense.

Following your logic apparently everyone should start a game while having access to everything and if that's not the case it's boring and you just better not to start at all. There is something seriously wrong there as then you just ignored the entire essence of any game. Logically most people who have been rping longer than you, are going to have more experience and abilities and are simply stronger than you. It's like that for any game, that's the essence of playing games: you start with barely anything and you work your way up. No one ever said or expected of you to go toe to toe with an RP veteran from the first day you started playing. It's nothing more than logical you start RPing with people who are in the same league as yours.

On top of that you can always place restrictions on battles. If you only know A-rank jutsu's it's not forbidden to state that only A-rank and below jutsu's can be used. There isn't a rule stating you need to go on a full out assault using everything you know in every RP battle.

So not only do I lack the ability to see where your suggestion now is, the situation you just described has nothing to do with the RP system itself, meaning there is nothing we can do about it, as it's how you perceive the RP and only you can change that yourself. We can't do that for you.

By rping itself you get posts, especially in training threads and in Konoha Town. So there isn't really a big issue there. As I said before it's more that you have a wrong way of viewing the RP system than that there is actually something wrong with that system. Secondly arguing has always been part of the RP and there isn't really something that can be done about it. There are people who argue over every single detail hoping, subconsciously or on purpose, to get a win by default. Other people ignore such kind of stuff as they just want to continue. Whenever an argument rises a lot of people somehow think it's their duty to post their opinion, even though it only causes more problems, especially when they even are going to deem their opinion more worth than those of sensei's or RP mods. But that has always been the case, you just got to learn to deal with it.
