With the exception of today, I will train from Tuesday-Thursday only as Monday/Friday are going to be my fun days on NB. All the while Sat/Sun I am not on the base usually. I may also train when ever I have free time on Monday or Friday.

Earth: Is one of the basic five elements. It is used to manipulate earth to use for defensive and offensive purposes. It can shape already existing earth.

Earth weakness is lightning because it breaks it apart.
Earth is strong against water because it absorbs the water.

It can be combined with fire to melt the earth and turn it into lava.

Remember Earth is a versitile element that can be used in many ways, try to think about more than jutsu the obvious ways to use it. Remember, in most battles you have have alot of earth around you (unless you fight on water)

Alright, here's the deal, the training method I am using will be The Pervy Sage's training method. I will not be posting every jutsu within the jutsu list and you copy/rearrange words to describe what you are doing. Once we start the following below is what we will be doing.

• Describing each jutsu to know how it's performed
• Strengths and Weakness to each jutsu
• How to attack with combination with the jutsu
• How do to defend this jutsu
• Short quiz after each rank advance on the jutsu list

Once the first 4 are complete then I will post the jutsu. Once I post the jutsu then you are free to use it.

Describe everything that you feel and the properties of earth. Basically be one with the earth that you are sitting on.

Concentrate while your doing that on your chakra and try to apply it to the earth. Through shape manipulation, try and create a small pillar to errupt from the ground! Keep a good control of it. Make sure you don't go too wild with it!

It seems you didn't use enough chakra, nor did you mold it correctly. Concentrate on a specific place you want the pillar to errupt. Then apply chakra that you have molded into the area that you are concentrating on. Then use shape manipulation to make it a pillar that you desire.

Descripton: Creates small pillars of earth, small tools, and small shields of earth

Now remember, you can create such things as shields and tools as well. Not just pillars. When I say tools you can create a earth type kunai. However remember that you can not create something large with it, as this only takes minimal amount of chakra to form. If you wanted to create something large you would need more chakra and this jutsu wouldn't be it.

Also as I mentioned before, Earth/Doton is versatile element. With this jutsu alone, you can dodge jutsu to a certain degree.

For example, if someone had shot a fireball at you, you can create a such a pillar to errupt from the ground at an angle to push you to the side, completly avoiding the fireball. Also when you do that you can immediatly prepare for a counter. This takes minimal amount of chakra which is an excellent way to defend/dodge certain thigs.

As a weakness, keep in mind you can not launch yourself 1 range. So if for example a large scale attack is coming your way that is very wide, this wouldn't save you. You always have to keep in mind the size of the jutsu that you are avoiding. Also ofcouse this is weak to lightning as it's an earth jutsu, but since it's quick and easy, it shouldn't be much of a concern.

Same method, mold your doton chakra and then concentrate on the rock. Apply your chakra into the rock and turn it into a staff. Once you have done that swing it around to see if it's sturdy enough.

remember you are molding your doton chakra, then applying it to the rock, then using shape manipulation to make it a staff by controling your chakra thats in the rock.
