It's not torture it's just not as enjoyable to read. After 650+ chapters of reading it to quit now would be stupid, might as well see how it ends.

It's like if your a musician and have been working on an album for years , then a week before it's going to be released deciding not to do it .It's like you put all this time into it already you might as well see it through to the end.

All of us enjoyed naruto at one point to an extent and are interested in the characters and there progression. Personally speaking I still love the characters it's just the plot is boring. I want to see Naruto become hokage and where everyone ends up, it's just gotten boring for me during the war arc and the battle after.

I'm hoping for better. I used to be fascinated by the manga. I used to love the plot and was interested in getting another chapter. I think in the future, Kishi will do something to capture my interest again, especially since his writing used to have me captivated.

As OP, I used to think the same son Lol. I tried getting past it and now I actually like the art and the plot is awesome for me. I've always liked adventure type things like in OP, so it appeals to me but it's not for everyone.

This thread has so much false consensus. Not everyone feels the same as you. Some people still have hope in it, and so, they continue to watch. If you can't understand it, then you can't understand it, it's pointless for us to try and justify it for you.

Also OP, your example with you trying OP(ha) doesn't apply here. That's you trying a series and not having an interest in it grow. This here is watching a series, having a large interest, but that interest dying down and hoping your interest can come back.

It just started season 4 a few weeks ago and I quit watching during season 3's mid-season break. It got boring, so I stopped. I don't care to see how it ends.

Difference is naruto is a lot longer running series and has been going on for many years. We've all know Naruto since he was a spunky kid going around painting the town to someone who conquered the demon inside of him and has become a light for others.

The progression is extremely in depth and the attachment is there to the characters. The characters aren't as profound in Walking Dead so when it gets boring it's easy to stop watching. With naruto there's always that hope that it might pick back up and captivate you again.
