the people who make manga, publish it and sell it, do it for the profit/money
kishi and his publishers don't care if the people who read the manga doesn't understand/relate to the feelings depicted in the manga as long as it sells
you ask why this manga is mostly aimed at children .....thats bcos children and teen are most likely to buy and read manga where as a grown man might have work to do and overlook this manga
simple statistics for u ..... if there are 100 boys under the age of 18 then more than 90 would buy a manga ...... but if consider the same for older men it would go down to sumthing like 75%...... so to get maximum profit they aim at teens ..... and not to mention the Game industry, toys, accessories etc
at the end of the day kishi is not a Mother Teresa who wants to save the world and make everyone understand every feelings depicted in the manga :| ....i know its harsh but its the truth ....he is an artist and naruto is his art which he sells for money
but he is a very gud artist and we respect him for it ....thats all
i wouldn't say it is all for profit and money as to be mangaka you have to really love drawing manga and i think you can only get really successful from manga if it becomes really popular so i believe you need to have a great love for being a mangaka not just to make money as you may not always gain the success that one series may have had
Looking at your point of view, just strengthens my own, that you really have to experience something in order to truly feel it. That's why this story is just entertainment to you, and much more to me....
even if that is the case why should it matter if i enjoy naruto and not find the hidden meanings that's down to me so just because you look for these meanings doesn't make your reason for reading naruto any better than anyone else's and the fact is naruto has changed the way i think about stuff but my biggest concern with naruto is that i enjoy reading it not looking for the meaning of life like i said before if you really want to find something you will find it even if it isn't there
What bugs me, is that this story has been the sole purpose of Kishimoto's life for 10+ years now and who knows how many years before that. He has shown so many different forms of strife that exist in our world and the ways that people cope with those situations. But the people that read it see nothing in it except their own entertainment, just like you. That's what's sad here.
for gods sake it is entertainment ....you are the only one who is making seem like some sacred book :sy:
Akira wrote Dragon Ball for more than a decade
Jackie chan was a movie hero for more than 2 decades
a random army soldier serves for his country for a decade (if he doesn't die)
my mom has been a teacher for 18 years
my dad is working at the same place for 19 years
probably 90% of the people in the will do the same work they started their life with and they were all dedicated in their work , they keed doing it bcos they enjoy doing it but also bcos it keeps them well in life
Naruto was the sole work of kishi in 10+ years but that doesn't give it some cult status or sumthing....... it is entertainment... kishi, the publishers and animators are keep doing what they are doing for the profit it gives :|
if u still dont understand this there is no point in arguing with u

That isn't the point, imagination is not suitable for experiencing what someone else has gone through.....that can only be known first hand. You can portray as best as you can but it still won't be accurate.
Kishimoto did not imagine all the terrible and painful things in this story, those are taken from our world itself, just like Kishimoto applies real world mythology. Every bad thing that happens in this story has happened and is currently happening somewhere on our planet. This story is merely inspired from those truths.
The pliability of the mind is something very interesting. I've dealt with a number of harsh hands in life (losing parents at an early age and a serious love interest around the same time, and some other things). Things my father said to me helped me in dealing with his passing. Oddly enough - I feel as though I learned more about my dad - the core of his being, at least - in the months after he died than in the twenty years I grew up with him.
In a way - the Naruto story appeals to me because it echoes the way I attempt to respond to hardship - loyalty, and a somewhat goofy/naive perspective. Sure, I'll kick some doors and crack some skulls if I have to - but I generally try to see the good in people.
It is unfortunate, however, that a lot of the meaning is lost in the English dubbed version. A great many of Naruto's defining moments are botched in the dub, in my opinion. They simply don't carry the same significance while retaining the attitude of an obnoxious brat.
I don't think the story is meant to be a parallel for any individual's life. I think it's supposed to connect on tangents and allow people to see - and possibly be inspired to work toward - a different, "better" reaction/attitude.

That's exactly right! Keep kicking teeth where its appropriate, I hope you become very successful in life! That's why I feel, only people who have faced reality can truly understand this story(your opinion says it all), others just consider it entertainment.
This guy likes to create threads that cause a lot of ruckus and will piss off people off. Please do not indulge him by commenting or challenging his views. Its pointless and will only strengthen his need to create these annoying threads.
I AM NOT SAYING DON'T comment, but if you do, he will challenge you and disregard what you have to say!

Throughout history - pretty much. The world has always fluctuated on temperature, so lets leave global warming alone as it's way too contentious. Dictators (Monarchs with 'divine providence') were also more common prior to now. Humans have always been self-centred and quite cruel. Rational choice is not the best for the collective good, we often don't see that.

Change in temperature is fine, a hurricane ripping through New York City and a Tsunami washing away an entire city is a whole different story, and don't try and tell me those are unrelated, everything is a byproduct of everything on this planet of ours. You think rising sea levels are a joke?!
The world has never been more uncertain than it is today, have you seen the civilian death toll in Syria? Those are civilians! Women and children! The entire middle east has been in a constant power struggle for years now, those guys can't swallow their lunch without having violence for breakfast. Don't even get me started on the orient.
You know...I often wonder the same thing. The Japanese are a truly advanced race and they are consistent(not in a financial sense), which is more than what can be said for other super powers.
