[Discussion] I don't like the time skip of one piece

don't u guys agree or not plz give ur opinions, it sooo shit, did u look at the straw hats, I think before the time skip they looked better, the only one I like is zoro that's it, the others look like shit, robin and nami look like prostitutes, franky look like a giant but with a small head his design is crap, chopper looks younger on his basic forms and all the other forms are so shit especially that giant form with that stupid voice, brook I don't even get how his body work, it's just silly..
sanji his ok just the stupid eyebrow which is on the other side and stupid too, if he was ashamed on showing it before the time skip why show it now and cover the other one?
ussop was skinny but now he became stronger??? loool WTF ??? why does he still behave like a puss I don't get it?
and why not giving him a good weapon like his old man and ben beckman?
and luffy well wt can I say he hasn't changed a bit for me only the scar on the chest that's it.
I am starting to get fell up with one piece to be honest, it's too childish, I've been watching it since I was a kid but now come on I am ****ing 21 not 10.
does Oda think about the people who watched it since they were kids or not I don't get it!!
I am reading up to date and I am never surprised, it's just too random.
by the way I am not a hater I am big fan, but I believe he should change it a bit make it more mature.

That's because Oda wanted to show us his own version of pirates. From the get-go, many pirates didn't dress like pirates. To not like that now is pretty pointless.

OT: I like the new designs. Except for Franky. Everyone else looks cool.

Also, OP isn't childish. Has some childish-like humor and gags, but the series overall is far from childish.

One thing I do agree though, is that Oda doesn't really think about people who started watching the show young and then grew. The show did mature, and is showing a bigger picture, more dramatic effects and the easter eggs and cultural/historical references are just crazy, but overall, it's not a very mature show. J.K.Rowling did it well with Harry Potter, we watched the characters grow as we ourselves grew. I wouldn't mind seeing the characters in One Piece grow too, and it is pretty clear Luffy needs to grow too, even Zoro told him about it. I think we're on the verge of seeing a great mature growth. It's been a long while since the time skip, but I feel it is going to change.

About the girls, I like them with longer hair. I wouldn't mind seeing them cover up their assets a little bit, but it's a manga, we shouldn't expect otherwise. But who am I to complain, I wouldn't mind in the least to see Zoro drop a few clothings.

1.They look more badass and powerful now than before

2.you are either a straight girl or you are gay

3.franky has more weapons ,that is what franky is about , i prefer him all big and bulky

4.chopper is bigger , his face remained the same , his forms are all really cool

huge variation in powers

emotional
great history
great back story
and it is childish and brings out everyones inner child
yet all characters maintain a certain level of badassery

I can see where you're comming from...Though I feel for the most part, their looks are good. I personally liked the Monster Trio's looks.

Ussop's only real change was that he is more muscular, and has a bit goatee. He basically wears the same style of clothes (though he added the different hat), but has a new color scheme.

Franky's change was overall better....if he is a cyborg, I think the more robotic body is better than his awkwardly oval arms. Still, the only problem I have is his legs are just too disproportional.

Chopper's Heavy Point looks a little rediculous, but the other points look nice!

The only looks that are significantly different is Robin and Brook.


Brook: Origionally he was a Bach or Beethoven in appearance...he also had the vibe of a Fencer since he had the classical music appearance. However, know he's more of a Beetles Rock Star....I personally liked his more Retro Vibe than a Rock Star one!

Robin: I think the biggest problem for Robin is she keeps wearing next to nothing.....in both Punk Hazard and Know Dressrosa...she's practically not wearing any pants (kinda hard to fight that way)....However, this is being done to give her a more motherly appearance (at least the Punk Hazard dress, and the Skirt on Fishmen Island). I'd personally like her look more if she started wearing clothes more like her mother (that trench coat thing and the Beany hat that was like Law's but smaller). Or more like the clothes in this picture below.


Like you said, Robin and Nami's recent clothing options have made them more along the lines of Fan Service than actual combatants/ pirates.

bro one piece aint that childish some of its themes are pretty deep and dark so i dont know how much you've been paying attention as that analyses is so wrong. i love all the new straw hats looks i was a bit thrown of by frankys look but not to bothered all in all one piece is great the way it is and it has its audience and oda will continue to do what ever the hell he likes with this series and the fans love that me included and if one piece was to grow up to fit the more series readers then that would ruin it as one piece manages to juggle ever aspect of entertainment as it has comedy its emotions and has plenty action along with unique characters and settings and how can you be a big fan if your getting bored when its getting better

• Brook was recently introduced to modern, mainstream music (Rock 'n' Roll).
• It should come as no surpise that his antiquated appearance would inevitably change.
  
• Usopp simply got physically fit, there is nothing wrong with having a decent build.
• Ussop's weapon is much more useful than a gun, there's simply so much he can do with it.
  
• If the females look like prostitutes… how would that be childish? They've matured a bit.
  
• As for Franky's overall appearance, he's finally looking like a well-built cyborg.
