So in the movie, Naruto can take Kurama out of his body. What the hell? He's supposed to die when that happens, what the hell happened to that?

Also, since when can Naruto use Kyuubi mode without Kurama inside of him?

Toneri took away his powers too. Does this mean he can't use them anymore?

^ if you don't watch it, then of course you won't understand. Best answer that can be given as of now.
But I could read and what I read describes what happened in detail. It says that Naruto released Kurama and that Kurama fought against some type of gedo statue.

Then it says that Naruto fights in Kurama/Rikudou mode against Toneri, who also has some type of RM that he stole from Naruto previously. Meaning that when he takes his powers he keeps them and he took his Kurama/Sage mode at the end.

It was a confusing scene, for sure. The Kurama that he released to fight the Hamura statue beast was in the form of beast mode chakra (as in when Naruto transforms into Kurama) and was completely under Kurama's control while Naruto maintained his tailed beast shroud to fight Toneri.

Perhaps it has to do with the fact that there were two Kuramas. Naruto after waking up with his powers from Hagoromo only had the Yin half of Kurama inside of him. The Yang was later seen again after Sasuke released all of the tailed beasts from their mini moons. Maybe Yang Kurama was sealed into Naruto as just a separate entity from the Yin, and therefore Naruto can release one as a summon while keeping one inside of himself to maintain his bijuu mode.

What do you think?

It would have been easier if Kishimoto just made clone instead of this nonsense.

The thing is that in chapter 700 we see that there's only 1 Kurama which means that either he never got yang kurama, or, the more obvious choice, that they combined into one.

There's never been a way to separate them without reaper death seal, or some other similar seal, which Naruto lacks. Even if there were a way to do it, the extraction alone would have killed him. Though the fact that he doesn't have his real body is making me think that maybe it is some sort of clone type thing.

Naruto already did this once when the juubi first got revived. Go back to the chapter titled "Juubi". You can see Naruto in Kurama link mode standing outside of the actual Kurama form. Not to mention road to ninja.

The fact that Naruto used Kage Bushins to save Hinata at the age of 7 ... Well, that should tell you how this movie would proceed in terms of plot coherency.

Probably Kuchiyose no Jutsu like RtN. Not that it has much better logic. :| Point is forceful extraction I think.

Kishimoto-sensei mentions the timeskip between Naruto chapters 699 and 700 was inspired by Dragon Ball. Ultimately, it allowed The Last: Naruto the Movie to smoothly connect with the manga.

He should just cut off with lies. Lol There is no "smooth connection" when he has abilities which most certainly were not present in canon. Lol Smooth connection when disregarding anything but 699 and 700.

Then again; this explains everything:
The Last: Naruto the Movie will be about love. Kishimoto-sensei explains the idea was originally from the anime producers.

Word of advice Mangaka's! Tell anime studio's to **** off when they "'recommend' canon movie material".

No, Naruto let Kurama talk through him. He never did a full on extraction.

I didn't even see that part. Anyway, i'm just trying to find some sort of logic in this since it's supposed to be canon. This shit can't be canon.

RTN was a movie that wasn't supposed to be canon, but this movie is, and this movie contradicts canon.

It's like these people who made the movie, and Kishimoto completely forgot that the guy stole the Jutsu scroll, as it was a forbidden Jutsu. That was the first time he learned it and used it to save Iruka. He was 12 then.

Man, this movie is turning out to be a steeple of garbage. I don't know why anyone in their right mind would watch it.

Wait, what? But he.. he was unable to do so until he was 12 :|

This movie is not even fuc*ing people with expectations of it being good, it's fuc*ing the terms like "canon" as well.
