I cannot upload an avatar picture?

Greetings, im new to NarutoBase but not entirely since I read the manga's here every week. Brilliant stuff.

It seems when I try to upload a picture and click 'save settings' or whatever it is, the file name just disappears and if I browse for it again it just repeats itself, though if I spam 'save settings' a couple of times it says 'failed to upload file'

Any advice?

it can be that your pic is too big.

make sure your picture is the right size I think its 150x200 if your pictures size excedes this limit it will fail.

Right click the file and look at its properties. If its too large get it reduced. By either posting it here or in the GFX forum and ask someone to resize it for you.

Maybe it did work and it just has to.. take effect?

I know the last time I updated my Avatar, it was blank, so I waited a couple minutes, refreshed the page.. still no new Avatar. I then logged out, logged back in.. and bam. Avatar.

Thanks, with a little tweeking here and there I reduced the size of the image as prescribed and faster than you can say salad in four different languages, it was there. The help on the site is really quite quick, good work guys.
