*I focus on the earth around me becoming in tune with it releasing my chakra into it still forming the tiger hand seal I begin to manipulate the earth changing my chakra to its form. The form I have in mind is soil. I match my chakra to the moist dirt beneath me.*

*Now that I've gotten a feel for the earth I attempt to manipulate it. Keeping the tiger hand seal I compact my transformed chakra along with soil in the ground into a think cylindrical shape. I slowly raise the pillar from the ground adding more soil to the form as it gets higher and higher, concentrating on keeping the soil compact as to not lose the shape.

This technique conceals the user underground and drags the object of their attack down into the earth, robbing them of their freedom. In addition, they can start another attack.

Go underground and emerge from beneath the clone and grab his leg and pull him into the ground so that only his head is left above ground. You pull him into the ground as you emerge from the ground so that way you are above ground while he's underground.

Best to not let your enemy see you tho before doing this. I would normally throw a smoke bomb or use the mist technique.


Advantages
- Can be used to catch the opponent off guard and trap them
- Block targets vision first eg. smoke, fire blast, earth jutsu of some kind.


Disadvantages:
- Never use this if the opponent can see you, because they could just attack you underground
- It’s only short range

*I create a water clone of myself and have it stand short ranged distance in front of me. I throw a smoke bomb on the ground between us and quickly change my chakra nature to earth and submerge into the ground. I move underground behind her and force my hands from the ground grabbing her the ankles and I drag her into the ground leaving only her head above ground. I emerge from the ground standing behind her head.*

I would like to add to another disadvantage above that you honestly shouldn't use it alot. People can just use one of the various earth jutsus to free themselves out of it.

So, this one is pretty obvious. Pick up a rock and turn it into a staff. Use it at melee range (for example to deflect incoming things, or just smack someone) or throw it. The more you throw, the less accurate it is.

*I pick up a rock and use my doton power to manipulate and change its shape. I elongate the rock and make it slender and cylinder-like until it is shaped like a staff. I run up to a tree and hit it with the staff, pretending like I'm Kilik from Soul Calibur. Leaves fall from the tree and I deflect the incoming attacks!!!*

Advantages:
-An easy way to deflect incoming objects without exhausting too much chakra consistently.
-Gives a close range weapon if you don't already have one.

Disadvantages
-The staff is slender so large incoming attacks would need a better defense
-To use it as a weapon you need to close the gap

Do the rat hand seal. When you've done it, control the earth chakra on both sides of your opponent. Create two big slabs of earth while doing this, and make them crush in on your opponent to smash him to wee lil' pieces.

*I build up doton energy in my body and perform the Rat hand seal. I use the chakra to raise two slabs of earth from the ground around my clone. I slam the rocks onto her, but not before I have her activate Nagashi. I cant hurt such a cutie!*

Advantages
-Closes in on the opponent from two sides quickly limiting their options for escape

Disadvantages
-Takes a bit of time to form the coffin and then slam it so it gives the opponent time to defend. I usually defend against it with lighting whips.

Hmm. Don't forget, chidori nagashi is unfocused lightning, so you won't be able to use it to block everything.

Yea, most doton techs can be slow, but some of them can be fast as well, despite the size. Keep that in mind.

Basically channel chakra in the ground under you and make yourself go under. Do the same underground to continue moving. You can sense people underground. Nifty.

*I build up doton chakra and release it from my feet into the ground. As my chakra grinds the earth into sand i begin to sink into the ground. Once I've fully submerged I push the earth sand around me to move freely. It's all dark though...Oh I sense you! Sensei are you fapping up there?!*

Advantages:
-You can move around freely without the enemy knowing your location if they are not a sensory type allowing for a sneak attack.

Disadvantages:
-It's dark down there
-If they do a large ground attack maybe you'll get caught in it.

D: Damnit, she can sense my fapping. I must be exerting a lot of "Chakra". hehe.

When using this technique, NEVER EVER use it against doujutsu (in particular byakugan) users. You'll be raped before you realize it. If against non-doujutsu users, don't forget to use a smoke screen or something that covers the sight of you so they can't see it. If you use this, I suggest letting a clone use it.

Alright. This is one of my favorites! Low rank, but rather quick and deadly. Focus your doton chakra, and create spikes under the opponent that shoot out from different sides to attack him.

*I gather doton chakra and manipulate the earth directly in front of me. I turn the dirt into sharp pillars that I force up from the ground to spike the imaginary bunny monster standing in the place.*

Advantages:
-It is a nice attack to surprise your opponent from below
-The rocks will break through obstacles

Disadvantages:
-None, its bawse

Focus the doton chakra under the opponent. Create it to shake the particles of earth, and by doing so creating a minor tremor/earthquake directly under the oppponent. Note that this can be used to somewhat damage/kill underground opponents.
