Dark Release: Knowledge/Thoughts/Facts
Also known as Meiton, originating from Kirigakure in the Land of Water. Users being born with specific marks on their palms, that resemble the shapes of diamonds and are referred to as "portals" which may store an infinite amount of chakra, which is separate from the users chakra network. These top mark is capable of absorbing elemental chakras. The bottom mark is capable of releasing the absorbed chakra that that the top mark absorbed that was then converted to [denser]raw chakra that the user is able to release in a more physical form.

Ability to absorb energy, in some cases, the user is able to absorb Earth/Water as well. Ability to release absorbed energy in more powerful raw chakra form

To start off Dark Release is a Kekkei Genkai said to be originated from Kirigakure, although by an unknown shinobi from it. Hiruko the villain stole this ninja's Dark Release KG and showcased numerous abilities with it. As you said, Dark works in absorbing other energy sources and redirecting them in a far stronger version of raw energy. One thing that needs to be said is that the colour of the released chakra is light blue, and not almost black in colour.

The method I've used in order to make a better understanding of Dark will make things less confusing for you, at least I hope so. Dark Release is divided into two categories, that of "Absorption" based Dark and "Release" based dark. Now the former deals in absorbing chakra (mostly energy based elements, however higher ranked Dark techniques can even absorb Water or Earth at some point). The dark marks located in your palm need to be short range away from an attack for them to absorb it most of the time. Whereas the Released version of Dark is releasing the absorbed chakra in the form of raw energy, which is alike to light blue flames. This form of Dark does not have the ability to absorb things. Normally, a hit from this raw energy grants death to almost anyone. A B-rank dark explosion is enough to deal life-threatening damage. Another branch of the Released version is that beside the blue flames, it can also come in blast and shockwave version; things which will be portrayed to you during the training.

Moving on, you're right on the part that the absorbed chakra does not affect our chakra system or body, as they stay within the marks. It is believed that the marks are portals to other dimensions, (Example: Obito's Kamui) and these dimensions can contain an infinite amount of chakra in there. That said, let me ask you a question; can Dark Release absorb Senjutsu? No, or yes, provide me the reasons.

Dark users may indeed absorb Senjutsu chakra due to the fact that the marks in the users hand, as you stated, are believed to be networks to another dimension, in which is not connected to the users actual chakra network, keeping them from the harmful chakra they absorb. Absorbing the Senjutsu chakra or virtually any absorbable chakra will react the same by being absorbed, stored, then released in the form of Dark release chakra

Absorbing the knowledge Sensei is preaching, watching as he spews a fireball from his mouth toward my direction. Realizing sensei is hungry for some bar-b-que, but not today! I quickly raise and extend my right hand out fully in front of me, with my palm open and lined up with the incoming fireball. Rapidly focusing my lightning and fire chakra into the top mark of my right hand as the incoming fire seems as if its about to make contact with my hand, the top mark activates absorbing the fire technique into the mark on my palm.

After the Senseis instructions touched my ears, I turned to my left to look at his clone. Such a sweet and majestic creature it was indeed, i slowly walked towards the clone, extending my right arm out forward in front of me, as i placed my palm against the clones forehead.. Gazing into the clones eyes, i discharge a blast of chakra from the bottom mark of my right hand, with intentions of surging dark chakra-energy into the skull of the clone causing it to disperse.

Two disadvantages (no obvious ones, be creative):

• 1. Waves of Dark chakra that can NOT be guided after being released
• 2. One is more sufficent with Long range than closer ranges

How would you use it in battle: Evil Black Aura, i would use while in close quarters combat, ideally in hand to hand combat. Darkness Wave, i would send a lightning related jutsu(a bolt or stream) toward the opponent and follow up with this technique.
Perform it: After proper absorption, id extend my arm(s) outward, with either palm pointed toward the target(s), focusing as i activate the bottom seal on my palm to release dense waves (or a wide spread wave) of dark energy, with intentions of harming the opponent.

Alright.

The next technique is interesting as it involves Taijutsu aspects. I'll have you come towards my clone and activate your Absorption dark mark. Then you will need to make contact with any part of my clone's body/skin and sap away a certain amount of chakra from his system. This chakra can then be used as a fuel for Release techniques, so it's a counter-part to the Inhaling Maw technique.

Do your best in order to completely drain that clone of mine out of chakra!

(In this post only perform what I said above and then we'll analyse the technique in itself)

After instruction, i walk toward the clone wondering if this clone knew my intent, he stood there just gazing at me. I took a quick glance toward the sensei as i approached his clone, exhaling deeply as i reverted my full attention toward the clone, extendeding my right arm out, wrapping every finger from my right hand around the clones neck. Gripping its neck harder as it began to struggle while the absorption mark in my right hand activated, absorbing chakra from the clone. Looking the clone in his eyes as i raised him by his neck drawing more and more chrakra from it.
Question.. May shadow clones use Dark release?

The clone immediately noticed the student's carelessness as he diverted his look to the original. Taking advantage of this moment quickly, the clone delivers a straight punch right at the student's face as a means to scold him for not watching the opponent in front of him. "Khahah!" The clone laughed mockingly. Of course, this would interrupt the student's plan to absorb his chakra. He needed more effort to even come close to the clone, let alone touch him. The best way to do that would be to incorporate Taijutsu as well.

While glancing at Sensei, from my peripheral vision i could notice movement from the clone,
causing me to instinctively revert my eyes fully looking at the clone as he approached me incorrectly, with quick succession i call forth numerous sharp needle within in my mouth, before spitting one toward the neck of the incoming clone, one toward each of the clones knee caps, each with great accuracy.
