Can Naruto and Bee discuss with their Tailed Beasts and also focus on the scene in real life?

Do Naruto and Bee perform involuntary actions as they speak to their beasts or do they stand still?

I think we've seen Naruto close his eyes and stand still a few times when doing this and bee is usually standing still as well or sitting so yeah I think they aren't moving or anything.
