Kaiten is a 360 degree defense itself, so attacking form 360 degree angles is not an issue. This is a technique that was powerful enough to send a bijuu-sized hand flying, and it's a technique that was powerful enough to, even in an incomplete and smaller spin, knock away Kurama's chakra. Mind you, the same chakra Zabuza said was more powerful than Kakashi's own. And we all remember those moments where Kakashi was casually blocking Kakuzu's attacks with Raikiri, which isn't even a defensive technique, unlike Kaiten.

And yet Rotation blocked Multiple wooden spikes, only ever losing due to the sheer numbers. And those spikes weren't even made of chakra, while Reikiri is made of chakra, which only puts it at a further disadvantage. Not to mention Rotation is a thick dome of chakra, not simply a thing outer sphere, meaning pierce through to get to the user is not possible. Please come up with something better.

How is Kakuzu's Wind Chakra jutsus gonna collapse a technique that blows away any chakra to begin with ? Neji's rotation, while smaller and incomplete, was able to blast away Kurama's chakra. Now, with his Rotation being at least 3 times bigger, he would have no trouble blasting chakra as weak as Kakuzu's away. Wind style being used on Rotation would yield to nothing more than the wind being reflected back at the monster.

Rotation knocks chakra in the opposite direction from the user via the spinning. We've already seen Neji move daggers away from him using pure chakra. Rotation is an increased and highly more powerful variant of this ability.

Air pressure isn't going to be something that can pressure Neji down since he'll be able to knock the wind chakra away, so it won't be an issue for him to begin with. Rotation acts as a spring or a mirror of sorts, as it reflects chakra away from the user and towards the opponent, which would apply to this wind chakra you are claiming would hold Neji down...

Still what ? They were potent enough to even be a threat to Naruto and Neji, who are decent tankers even in base. Then again, it's not like Raikiri has superbly superior piercing feats in comparison.
