and forgiving Obito is Naruto's job, he forgave Nagato and Konan even though, under their power, they nearly had all tailed beasts hosts killed, innocent people killed, his master killed, Hinata almost killed, and the whole village destroyed. If Naruto can forgive them, I'm pretty sure Naruto and forgive Obito.

I just wouldn't go too far to calling Obito a hero because he was the one who organized the Akatsuki from the shadows and proposed the idea for the agenda, and caused the war as well.
