Anyone live in the east coast of US? Irene is hitting us now. (Delaware) Im so scared. 6 people are confirmed dead. and the power is about to go out i think. Be safe Everyone!:shrug:

this is so funny(not funny haha but wired funny) i live in south carolina it just past us we didnt even get any rain or nothing crazy.

Theres no reason to be scared. Trust me you will be fine. Just don't go outside when it is windy,and raining. Stay inside and it will pass. I've been in two hurricanes. This will be my third time.
Just read a book (if the power goes out)and have a radio near by,for warnings.

don't be near the windows because of the wind,also try to stay in a hallway or evacuation center,
also make sure you have food and supplies because there are going to be some repairs
and if you have something rechargable, recharge it now.
if you're in a building try not to use elevators because it runs of electricity and it can be damaged.
try to stay not in a low for because of floods and not high because of the winds, the higher the floor the more of the wind pressure.
im in nyc and this is all my info on this storm because it's supposed to hit ny too.

I'm in the east but I'm not all that close to the coast (in Jersey, but near the center) so it shouldn't be all that bad around here. Actually... I'm pretty sure that earlier it was supposed to hit us at like 5:00 (it's 9 now) but all we've gotten so far is on and off rain. The power hasn't even gone out where I am. =/ But I'm honestly not even trying to fret about it. There's honestly little to nothing that can be done at this point besides just being smart and staying indoors.
