Naruto: How the hell-?!
Karu: Allow me.
Ban: Go for it.
Karu: You see, two years ago. After Pein attacked Konoha, a group of travelers found some remains of one of the Peins. It was the Pein who utilized some kind of machinery power. It was destroyed to the point where it would never work again. Those people then formed their own religion, where technology triumphs. Those people worked on replacing their own flaws of the human body by replacing it with technology. Using that Pein as a base, we were able to modify our bodies. While we may not be able to apply the full powers of technology into one body at once, we were all able to get at least one of Pein’s technological prowess. That’s all you get to know.
Naruto: You bastards!
Shikamaru: Be careful. These guys are not going to be easy to beat, unless, Naruto…
Naruto: Heh. I don’t need to use that. Sage Mode is going to be enough.
Naruto closed his eyes and stood still.
Karu: As if I’d let you use that!
Karu put his hands in front of him, creating two pipes on his palms and let out a large ball of fire towards the Leaf Ninja. Everyone but Naruto leapt out of the way. The fire hit and surrounded Naruto.
Sakura: Naru-!
Shikamaru: Don’t start that shit, just attack ‘em!
Sakura: Right.
Sakura landed and lunged towards Ban.
Ban: Hmph. Foolish bit-
Sakura: What?!
Sakura punched Ban, sending him flying into a rock.
Ban: That strength.
Kemuri turned around and spewed out a large cloud of purple smoke at Sakura. Suddenly, a blast of air pressure hit the cloud, subduing it and dispersing it.
Kemuri : OK, who the hell?!
Kemuri looked up and saw Neji, Shino, Hinata and Kiba, the latter on Akamaru’s back.
Sakura: Hinata! Shino!
Kiba: And Kiba!
Shikamaru: Shut the hell up, Kiba!
Hinata had her Byakugan activated.
Hinata: If that hit you, you’d be infected with poison.
Sakura: That’s alright, I had antidotes with me.
Kemuri: (Reinforcements? Shit!)
Kemuri leapt back, landing near Ban. He then helped Ban out of the rock.
Ban: Thanks. I’ll wipe ‘em all out in an instant!
Ban pulled his hand, revealing a swarm of bombs.
Hinata: ?!
Shino: I’ll handle this.
Shino stretched out his hand and several bugs flew from his sleeves and surrounded Ban. Then, they all swarmed into his arm, covering his bombs.
Ban: No! You’re clogging it up!
Suddenly, a high-pitched whirring came from his arms. The bugs quickly flew off as the bombs went off, launching Ban and Kemuri backwards. As the fire cleared, Naruto was revealed un-hurt.
Hinata: It’s Naruto!
Kiba: And his clothes are not even singed!
Shikamaru: Kiba! What did I say?!
Naruto turned towards Karu.
Karu: Damn!
Karu dropped a light bomb.
Hinata: No use! I can still se them.
As the light cleared, it revealed they were gone.
Shino: Where are they?
Hinata: It’s too late. They went underground and blocked up the entrance with explosives.
Shino: It’s useless to pursue them. We should continue on to the town, get some reports.
Shikamaru: Yeah.
Over in Kabuto’s hideout, which was just like the hideout Sasuke absorbed Oro in, Kabuto and Kyo were in a large room.
Kyo: Where’s Sasuke?
Kabuto: Don’t worry. He’s almost here.
At that moment, the door opened and Sasuke came in. He was wearing a white version of his shirt when fighting Danzo, zipped up to the fullest. He wore purple pants and the same shirt-thing wrapped around it with his sword.
Kabuto: Ok, now I want you to fight me.
Sasuke: Fight you?
Kabuto: Yes. Don’t worry, I won’t die. I just want to see your prowess with Curse Mark, Ninjutsu and Taijutsu, no Mangekyou.
Sasuke: I don’t even need that.
Sasuke looked up, revealing his three-tomoe and the Curse Mark started creeping up his neck.
