"Hunter x Hunter" Author is Ready for Reaction to Manga's Return

After over two years, Hunter x Hunter has returned to the Japanese Shonen Jump and joined the English digital edition with chapter 341 Threats - The Hunt Forbidden. And, if you missed HxH, the new chapter is certainly quintessentially Hunter x Hunter. Author Yoshihiro Togashi seems to be prepared for something of an ambivalent reaction from readers.

The Viz digital edition has the end author's note saying, "I'm sorry for the long wait. I'm still a bit rusty, but I'll do my best."

Mantanweb expands on the comment with Togashi saying that he's ready to have to manage some reader backlash.

This year's issue 27 of the Japanese run, featuring Hunter x Hunter's return.

This is HxH 2011. The original HxH is waaayyyy older. Naruto's chuunin exams were based off of this anime's hunter exams. And about the mange, It took a 2yr break. The anime did have manga.

coz its one of the oldest, coolest and awesome manga that peeps couldn't easily forget =D

I was there, when he pulled that massive Hiatus in 2006 in the middle of chimera ant arc when Netero descend from zeno's dragon..
New HXH fans have it easy with the new anime and now Togashi is back from hiatus
