I read all the series and it's great. I think all the characters are well-written. ^.^ I'm just hoping that the movie won't ruin it.

The concept is completely stolen from Battle Royale, which in turn stole it from older, similar concepts.

I LOVE that movie. At first I was kind of indignant at HG because I felt like Collins ripped BR off, but, I guess once you realize the whole concept of kids killing each other off has sorta been done before you can shrug it off and see HG as it's own independent series... >.>

i liked the first 2 did not like most of the 3rd i like the start of the 3rd the middle was just kinda weird and the end was two short for me

I was reading and I just thought: "Man! How much more awesome can it get?!" And then stupid ending came where ****** died while doing unnecessary thing and then ***** died due to stupid political games and then Katniss haven't even avenged their deaths properly and then romance side of the story got lousily undone... I'm going to watch the movie, enjoy it and then start praying that they won't make sequels (because, since they will be made after books, they will suck).

Finished series in like a week good books but I didnt like Cf and Mj as much as Hg. Authors tend to do that the first book is awesome but then it gets repetitive. That's where J.K comes in. She is not like other authors Harry potter had the best mood in a book that I ever felt. She started out aight then OMMMNGGGG!!!!

You're not the only one bro... and Mocking(j)ay wasn't lame - it was fu*king retarded. I've read a lot of books and I've seen a lot of letdowns on many levels be it romance, who stayed alive, who ruled etc. But this book... Man this book failed at every level it could've possibly failed. Unbelievable!

I really like the books I actually read both the english and the danish version. The english was better though
Tranlations are never as good as the original.
I just watched the movie and I did't think it was a let down. It was almost as good as I wanted it to be. But books are always better
