Yeah, but I mean books that are like Percy Jackson, Harry Potter and even Twilight. The movies pale in comparison to the books. Not saying I do like Twilight though, it's kind of cheesy.

Well, everyone can hope that they can translate their books into movies as well as Lord of the Rings. And to a certain extent, Harry Potter (though I agree books are far far far better)

I don't think the persons who translate a book into a movie take examples on Percy Jackson, Twilight or Eragon.

Well, if Twilight was a best-seller, I guess it isn't that hard.
The book is not that bad actually - I read only the first one though.

I saw it yesterday it was awful. The Games should have been more intense. The people of the capitol look like rag dolls. And I don't think Jennifer lawrence did a good job in acting. Although the one part that made me laugh was when Katniss kissed peeta in the cave and Gale was watching lol

The build-up for the start of the games was too much compared to what the games actually offered.
Like 50% of the movie was building up to the moment where the hunger games started, and when it did, the build-up was too much. The action wasn't well paced... Half of the people contesting died like in the first 5 minute, and they didn't really show much of that either, just glimpses.. There were too long intervals between action after that.. meh..
