Can I see a copy of the viz. I remember the Sage even embraced one of Sasukes ideals that is destroying the bijuu because they were kept as weapons.

Destroying the Bijuus is virtually pointless, considering that they come back, by the Law of Conservation of Energy, no energy can be destroyed...

The bijuu being revived wasn't the point. The sage embraced the idea this time around. The sage made it sound it wasn't impossible as well calling himself naive.
