The bijuu being revived wasn't the point. The sage embraced the idea this time around. The sage made it sound it wasn't impossible as well calling himself naive.

don't get me wrong i love naruto but u guys are forgetting the point of everything the great toad stated that the boy of prophecy will make a decision that will change the world and make peace so i think the guy who started this thread is right

Lol I love how u left out what the next chapter said... Naruto and the bijuu reaffirms the sage by saying " Nope you ain't wrong super-gramps! Shukaku: That's right old man!"...
