the Nara techs are shadow based techniques. They cannot work when its completly dark or at noon. Fire attacks push our clan techniques back/lessen the affect.

B-rank slows it down,
A-rank stops the jutsu in its tracks,
and S-rank pushes the jutsu back at the user.
Also, Nara jutsus work best at dawn and dusk, where the shadows are the largest.

Well, jutsu are great, but don't forget about your basic ninja tools.

Like...flash bombs xd

An easy way to power up your shadow jutsu is to simply toss a flash bomb behind you. Not only will this power up your shadow jutsu, allowing it to be faster and extend further, but it will also blind your opponent. Thus, making them extremely vulnerable.

Don't be in too much of a hurry to just "get jutsu". You have to understand the basics first so that when you do "get a jutsu" you can use it effectively U_U

But yes, we'll start on the first technique now.

I want you to make the rat sign and focus chakra into your shadow. Try to extend it towards me a little bit. It takes alot of concentration, so you can't release the rat sign, and don't be discouraged if your shadow only moves a slight bit to start.

Good, that's the basic idea. Focus a little harder

Good. It seems you've got extending it down, so now for the difficult part. Now you have to combine your shadow with your opponents shadow. So when the two shadows meet, use your chakra to combine them and you'll have your opponent trapped. They will only be able to mimic your movements.

Give it a try on me, see what happens.
